For anyone wondering, a certain actor's refreshingly friendly and reasonable lawyers took issue with a few sentences in our original version, so simply asked us to change I think it was literally one word in each of those few sentences. Didn't change much of anything about the overall content obviously. And you'd have to pay extremely close attention to figure out what is different if you watched the two side by side, but they were correct and perfectly justified in the word change they were wanting, so we didn't argue and happily obliged. :-) -Daven

One note: Nick Cage didn’t buy a pyramid shaped “tombstone” - he bought a pyramid shaped tomb. It’s in the same cemetery Marie Laveau, the Voodoo Queen. Down here in New Orleans we don’t bury our dead - we use above ground tombs. The water table is only two feet below ground surface so this Keeps ‘em from revisiting us every-time it rains. Tombstones are those small stone inscriptions above a buried body. Cage’s tomb is a literal pyramid large enough for his casket.

In another comment thread, TIFO replied saying that "somebody's" attorneys, had politely contacted them, and asked them to change or remove a couple of sentences, that they didnt feel were appropriate, for whatever reason. So, TIFO complied.

You'd think you be able to get an annulment instead of having to file for a divorce in a situation like that. Also, if they were together for a while beforehand it not's that surprising that she would try for that because in the US, while the specific rules differ slightly from state to state, even if you never got married, and were just living together with someone for a significant period time, or other specific requirements are met and you separate, you can technically file for support in some cases. In this case, I believe it's called Palimony instead of the traditional and more commonly known Alimony. So while it does sound outrageous and completely unfair, especially if entire relationship only consisted of 4 days total, it does have legal precedent. Most people with wealth like usually take certain precautions to ensure things like this don't happen...but then again this Nick Cage were talking about here, the same man who bought two albino cobras, a shark, and a octopus as pets, he isn't like most people! LOL! Honestly, he sounds more like a bond villain than a very successful actor!
