Eating oils made using hexane (Seed Oils), is bad both from hexane traces and from the Omega-3 fatty acids. As for Pemex, it is Mexican state-owned. Nothing like a corrupt government running things.

I am a high school dropout with a GED and I have no problem whatsoever reading the King James, nor did my great depression Era grandfather with a sixth grade education. Anyone reading English can understand the King James Bible if they want to.

Never attribute to malice what all corporations naturally do while chasing after the bottom line: Human lives are not important at all when a profit is to be made.
That explosion in Mexico. I think that was originally reported to the world as an Earthquake. It was long ago, I was 18 that year, I remember some major Earthquakes in that year. I didn't actually follow it much after the first report. At the time I didn't care much.
Step away from the war on CO². The people who want to depopulate the world are the same ones who want to DEPRIVE PLANT LIFE of WHAT THEY BREATHE. There were more abundant and more easily grown crops before the current era. Humans were alive when the the CO² counts were in the 4,000 ppm range and grew without the artificial and synthetic substitutes for nutrients we have now. Wakey, wakey.
I was 5 years old when this happened but clearly remember how it was living trough that time. I was extremely fortunate to not live in the danger zone, but at the time, there was so little info that it seemed like any street could blow up, anywhere, at any given time. they opened up all the sewers and there was an eerie feeling in the air. I wasn't old enough to understand the potential danger, so to me it was kind of a cool experience (given that i wasn't exposed to the real horrors of it) it felt like being in some sort of disaster movie. as soon as my extended family established communication it was decided that it would be best to wait it out at a restaurant that my aunt owned literally at the edge of town. it was one of my most fun memories, since it was the biggest family reunion we ever had. it was essentially a giant sleepover, I was greeted by my cousins who were already having a blast, then once the sun came down, we all prayed for about an hour. then the adults started to go to sleep while me and my cousins stayed up chatting, but whispering as to not to wake up the adults. if i remember correctly we avoided even turning on the lights for fear that the electricity might spark an explosion so it was completely dark. I'm sure it must have been very calming to all the grown ups to see us all having fun, and knowing that there was relatively little risk of explosion since we were in a very underdeveloped area, surrounded by fields, on the side of the highway. the next day, word started spreading that it might be over and everyone started heading home. before anyone says any hate, i do understand how fortunate i was to be sheltered from the entire experience which killed hundreds, injured thousands, and displaced tens of thousands, and mortified the entire city. fun fact; one of my cousins, who was also there, but was about 6 months younger than me, had completely zero memory of that entire event even happening during our lifetimes. as adults adults we were arguing because he didnt believe me that we lived trough it , and he was adamant that it happened before we were born, he even called his mom on speakerphone to ask her, only to have her corroborate everything i had just told him.
Vanderbilt University also conducted studies using pregnant women and children from orphanages as unwitting guinea pigs. This resulted in terrible injuries and deaths from cancer. There was a settlement reached only after Vanderbilt fought tooth and nail in the courts.
Like so many other pages out there, the covering of Yasuke is full of alot of misinformation and theory/conjecture. Yasuke existed, he was most likely not bought or enslaved but was a freeman like the majority of Africans at the time and was a trained warrior and a hired body guard to one of the jesuit missionaries from India. Him being a slave is conjecture at best based on some slavery going from Africa to the middle east and india at the time, but many Africans also traded and traveled to those lands for work and as mercernaries. When the Jesuit went to Kyoto to see Nobunaga after 2 years in Japan thats when Nobunaga desired to see his body guard who he then desired to hire for himself from the Jesuit missionary who obviously was not gonna tell him no, so he became a retainer. This is where many people believe he became a Samurai but thats where the conjecture and miss information begins. He was given payment and a house because he was hired as a retainer to Nobunaga. This was not unheard of for anyone under a lords retinue. He was also gifted a sword at some point but it was only a single sword and by most accounts a ceremonial sword most likely a wakizashi. To be a Samurai, they had to have the symbolic two swords. A katana and a wakizashi. Since he never recieved the symbolic two swords nor has any account ever mentioned him being Samurai, its unlikely he was ever officially a Samurai. He was most likely seen as a "bushi" which is a Japanese warrior. To add, Samurai were not just warriors. They were considered a level of nobility and were required to handle managerial responsibilities and were usually craftsmen or held other administrative skills. Another thing to add is that the account of Yasukes surrender has him handing over his sword and being returned to the Jesuits to be taken back to India because he was not considered apart of Japanese culture or Japanese. This makes sense since he had only been directly involved with Japanese culture under Nobunaga for about a year and probably was not fully adapted to their societal expectations so he was not recognized as a Samurai and expected to commit suicide like Nobunaga and his son or their Samurai. He also would not be considered Ronin as he did not have the two swords that would distinguish him as a Ronin Samurai. Ronin Samurai would still have their weapons. This is not to discredit Yasuke, but there is a lot of fantasy, conjecture, and recent folklore being fabricated to exaggerate Yasukes time in Japan for more recent political and ideological reasons that undercut reality and history and the little we actually know about this historical event and Yasuke.
that is a huge loss of freshwater. what a bunch of fools for drilling in a lake with salt underneath it. I guess the government are even greater fools for allowing it to happen.
When you mentioned a small hole and a city blowing up, I thought you were going to be talking about the plumbing accident in Chicago in the 90s that almost sank the city.
