The Black Angles is the only band that I truly love all and every aspects of their music. Truly masterful performances from all sides, absolutely amazing.
He was unhappy about touring and was clearly over it. His playing lack the passion and it took a toll on the other members. If you ever seen them live all players except the drummer plays different instruments.
That was a little weird taking the guitar away from the guitarist and making him just sit there but who know's maybe he could not handle the cord progression :-D otherwise liked the sound now bring on the free love LOL.
You don't even know what's going on there. He usually plays bass, first off. Secondly, "Too Much Hate" is a solo song Alex normally plays at their shows, without any band members. So do some research before you jump to stupid ass conclusions.
Anyone have any idea what kinda of guitar Christian Bland is playing in this video on the first track? I'd love to get me one, or one similar... the hollow body w/ trapeze bridge and neck pickup would be perfect for slide guitar drenched in reverb...
That appears to be a Kay or a Harmony or a Vega or a National archtop guitar from the early sixties or mid 50's. Time saving tip: Buy them in person! They are notoriously shit kicked beyond playability on ebay and it's hard to get one that can be repaired unless you know the seller or know what you're looking at. Take a road trip to Nashville and bring about 700 bucks. Happy trails...

Good job.. since they are all hungover (hard) They probably taped at 6:30am Not judging... just been there. Glad they are around, part of the reason I live in Austin now. It took a bit for them to catch. Feel like they are running away from it now. Wish 'em the best. Hope they can work it out.

doors ans te velvet underground more i think mrgungho, but then again a lot of riffs taken from an already well unknown band the black keys. but with more a flourescent light bulb feel atmosphere too them
