I'm glad The Black Angels are getting more exposure thanks to the Assassins Creed Movie, I've always loved this band and I'm happy they're reaching more people.
Manuel Rocha I've been with them since before they were on any soundtracks, but I'm a big believer that however people find the band, it's a good thing. And I loved how T-Bone Burnett worked The Black Angels into True Detective (more than once.)
It was clear from their first album, that they would be one of THOSE bands, awesome and unique style, good lyrics, great voice. I can't even count how often I have listened to their greatest songs or even the whole albums. Keep'em coming.
had this blaring full blast driving through Entrance Alberta last week. Driving into the rocky mountains after 2 days crossing the prairies, a near perfect moment, if only it were I45.
To see them play in the Dome at the Queen Mary, former home of the Fabled Spruce Goose, with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.. surreal is an understatement,, to our knowledge at the time . First time a band had played inside .. the doom creates echoes that are hard to explain.. proud to have been a part of the small Production team for the Ink n Iron festival.. Legend.. @∅🇺🇲

I've been a big fan of the Black Angels for a few years now. They're one of a selective few bands in which I own all of their albums. I hope being featured in _Assassin's Creed_ gives them the fan base they so deserve.
The band is from my hometown Austin Texas, most of the roads they mention in this song are actual roads and highways in Austin. Working on getting my first motorcycle and soon I'll be rollin' fast down I35 listening to this song. B-)
Another movie brought me here. The Art of Flight where I first heard Young Dead Men from the Passover Album ten years ago. Listened to all of their music and love it all. Hope to see them live this summer.
I'll be honest, I learned about these gents and a lady from "Spec Ops: The Line", but I am damn glad I learned about them one way or the other. This and "Sniper at the gates of heaven" are my favorite TBA songs.
God, is this the reincarnation of _The Doors_ and Jim Morrison thou hast promised? If not, thanks be to the producers of _Ozark_ for leading so many of us to discover this magnificent band 🙏
I met a few Black Angel's in my day......I like this for my Entrance Song. Reminds me of driving super fucking fast across the U S on the desert highways in the middle of the night Coast To Coast Baby!!!
When this song played in Assassin's Creed I knew that it was The Black Angels, eventhough I didn't know the name of the song. The have their own sound that's how you know it's them.
It was cool this song was in the Assassins creed movie, but I've been listening since their first album came out..such a great band. Also they got a lot of exposure from being featured in the Charlie Manson TV movie.
I found this band at my public library. It's great! I get to check out lot's of bands for free to see if I like them. And yes,I like this band. Already bought DEATH SONG.
@@imjoeaf brian jonestown massacre without a doubt. peter hayes was a part of the band for a few years in the late 90's. personally, I came across the black angels first, then spent A TON of time listening to BRMC who i will always be partial to. and eventually found BJM. Seems like a very common trio, through what I've seen. start listening to one....youll be listening to and loving all three haha
@@Messiah114 showing how fast the shots are of the cycle, I can only guess it's a triumph of some kind by the upside-down triangle on the engine. Sorry couldn't help any better. Peace
I brought myself here because I was looking for real music and this is the kind of place that you find that these days...oh and because stoners always find each other.
