Beware false prophets. Jesus was never paid to teach about his heavenly father. So much showy display. All eyes on people preaching instead of the true teaching from God. Folks leave church only being entertained and knowing how to cabbage patch dance. Folks leave saying yes the preacher sure can preach. But what did the preacher teach you. I ask my uncle that one day and he laughed saying he didn't learn anything about God. He only heard preaching never teaching. So many use the church as a mechanism to make money. The bigger the church the more money made. Folks talk paying tides? Li,Like, God actually needs a man made thing like money. I find that somewhat comical. Jesus clearly turned over the tables of the men trying to make a buck in his father's house. God doesn't want your money,,he wants your allegiance. I'm sure if no one gave money at church it would a huge issue. I'm sure that collection plate would be sent around several times. Preacher is not a paid occupation. Jesus the greatest preacher and was never paid ..he never sent a collection plate around to collect payment for himself or any other reason. Jesus worked for a living as a master carpenter. Beware false prophets. Preacher should never be viewed as an occupation. God's word is free. People should never be paid to teach people about God. And in my opinion anyone asking or looking for payment to teach God's word is a false prophets looking to gain selfishly while using God as a smoke screen. And God is no smoke screen for profit

It’s called the black church because it’s majority black people…if your ancestors were enslaved under a people who were claiming to be Christian’s and went to church, would you think they would voluntarily join the same church as their owners? Hence why the black church has been created.

The reason there is a “black church” because there was a “white church”. And that was because of the “white churches” racism and whites supremacist ideologies.
