definitely was one of my favorite metal vocalists, hope the band still keeps going even though it will probably never be the same.

This was my favorite band from 03 to around 08... still loved em but quit following them. I read about Trevor's death just a few months back and when I read a couple interviews in which he described his disillusionment with the world I was heartbroken. I have struggled with almost exactly the same kind of existential despair and I hated that one of my heroes was so destroyed by it. I remember meeting Trevor after they opened for King Diamond in Houston at the Engine Room in 05. He was such a humble guy and was floored that my friends and I completely snubbed King Diamond to talk to him behind the club. I thanked him for the inspiration to start playing death metal I got from BDM's first album and said that they were so much better than all the other bands that I wasn't even going to stay after BDM finished playing because I wanted to go jam Miasma in my truck on the way home (it had just been released, didn't want to spoil it by listening to it on the way to the show). He looked at me like I was nuts and just said, "Wow, really? Thanks, man!" as if he didn't believe anyone could possibly think they were better than the headlining bands. There was no trace of a shitty, rockstar asshole vibe from this man and though I didn't really know him, I felt terrible loss at the news of his demise. I hope he is at peace, and will be remembered forever with the same respect and appreciation I have for him and his music. This song sounds pretty sick, I really hope BDM keeps going strong.

Absolutely dead on. It has this really picky tone. He uses a dark glass amp. I hear they are the shit.

He sounds like Steve Harris. I thought only Steve Harris could do that.
