Hi Marty, James here. i just have a question to ask you. I am a completely self taught guitarist and would say I'm at an intermediate level, of just playing, but when it comes down to the "technical stuff" i lack the knowledge that i believe will unlock many more possibilities for me. I have been looking on your website for a bit and can't seem to see what will be most beneficial for me. I would really like to learn all of the most important scale/modes. AND the biggest thing. When jamming with other people, how to know where to play in order to be in the same key as them. I would like to add that I'm a huge fan of yours and really benefit from your teaching style. ps. Also it is a good example of having the right gear(for tone) and some basic knowledge, a little bit of skill(I'm sure he has a ton but doesn't find it necessary to it all) and using them to write a really good song. The only missing ingredient is some soul. A sweet ass simple groove can't exist without some soul.
