That’s so funny! When I first saw the plain white helmet, the first thing I thought about was, “Man, if we made reusable decals for each type of clone trooper, we’d be rich!” 😂
I totally prefer the shiny look as well. The gloss really adds to the whole "outer space military" aesthetic. I only have two Black Series helmets, but I definitely want a clone trooper helmet of some kind. I am going to end up waiting for either a 501st or a Coruscant Guard repaint! Quick note about the voice changer...I kind of wish they would've skipped it altogether and maybe charged a little less. If you're not Tem or Dee Bradley...you're not gonna sound like the trooper. Thanks for the review, Jackson! This is awesome for what it is! Parents can buy these for kids. Adults can put them on display or wear them around without too much fear of damaging them. I, of course, see where Hasbro has made alternations from the original design, but if it means more people can get their hands on a clone bucket, then I’m all for it.
Yup! Having it for the sake of having a clone helmet is what I enjoy about this. It's just enough that it isn't something cheap or lame for collectors and kids -Jackson
It looks better than my Cybercraft, which was double the price of the HBS. Hasbro has already announced the first repaint, the Ahsoka Loyalist (332nd) which will be out this year. Perhaps a Gree and a Jesse will follow soon?
Hopefully more repaints! That would be amazing for this helmet. I've never been a fan of CyberCraft because they take from a lot of helmet builders files and own work without saying they do. I have seen and tried one of their helmets and I will say they aren't that bad -Jackson
@@1313Podcast I didn't know about the accusations of plagiarism until recently, but they are good helmets, however, the proportions of Jesse's republican logo on my example are a little off.
This is incredible. The only problem I have is the glossiness. Clones should look more matte so they don’t have that cheap, plastic looking texture for armor, unlike the stormtroopers. Like when they call clones shinies, they are referring to how clean it is, not how reflective the armor is. But aside from that, it still looks incredible and I will definitely be getting one.
When did you preorder this helmet off of BBT? I had just preordered my helm about two weeks ago off of pulse and wanted to get a rough estimate if I switched the order ti BBT.
Those are the absolute best helmets on the market and worth every penny. I'd love to get one some day. I'd really recommend that if you have the money -Jackson
@@1313Podcast they are absolutely gorgeous, I have 4 myself. Gree(green phase two) Keller(airborne helmet) Hound(red arf) and a Kyber Trooper(blue sandtrooper) from them. They are a bit pricey so I been spacing out my purchases but they are all incredibly detailed and beautiful in my collection, I am trying to get fairly different helmet types of course. I hope you can get one someday and do a review on your channel, would love to see your thoughts :)
Hello I was wondering how big the helmet hole is for someone’s head. I have a huge head almost 25-26 circumference. The black series Luke pilot helmet fits me, but will I be able to put this helmet on? 😮
Where did you get yours? I have mine pre ordered through Amazon but no luck yet. Bbts is where I've seen people already getting theirs but it still says pre order. I'm wanting it asap. I'm glad the voice changer works like the new storm trooper helmets not the new old ones. Cause the old voice changers stink
BBTS is where I got mine. My dad pre-ordered his on Pulse and still has no shipping info at all. I pre-ordered immediately so I think the people that jumped right on it got it. It'll be everywhere soon tho if vendors are just starting to get it. Yeah old changers on the helmets weren't the best lol -Jackson
