Newark New Jersey had a little bit of a carjacking problem in the 90's. Does this movie do a good job of portraying the era? BlackTrack with me to find out as I talk about the 1995 movie New Jersey Drive.
Fun fact The dude that robbed in carjacked Corinne and Jason and stole their car was the same dude that saw Jason in the jail that told him to watch out for his homie midget
The Main reason for Jason & Richie Beef was because of Richies home boy Nugget, the guy walking with Richie after him & Jason had fought, he was in the background talking Hella shit about Jason, it all started after Ron Q had got shot & Jason & his boys was talking about it & in the background when Richie was talking you can tell Nugget didn't really wanna be there & then another scene when His sister Jackie was in the car Jason told her to get out & go home & Nugget was the one driving the car & then the final scene showed Nugget instigating the fight between him & Richie & if you pay attention to him he's getting mad saying how much he hates Jason & hes telling Richie to hit him, the movie never really touched on it, but it was there & they just showed Nugget hating in the background instead of bringing more to it, New Jersey Drive is still a Classic, but it could've been Better Imo, cause this Movie really had Great Potential
I got a few movie suggestions my brother. 1. Native Son 2. There are No More Children Here 3. Women of Brewster's Place 4. Passenger 57 5. Jungle Fever 6. Mississippi Massalla 7. 5 Heartbeats
6:06 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 THAT'S CRAZY HOW HAD SAID THAT HE HAS BIG TEETH AND THAT HE COULD'NT CLOSE HIS MOUTH LIKE I NEVER CATCH ON TO THE UNTILL NOW 😂😂😂😂 AND I HAD GREW UP WATCHING THAT MOVIE.
It’s based on a true event in jersey of corrupted cops that been killing black people and racially profiling them in Newark. And they wouldn’t allow this film to be film in jersey so most of it is in NY and Connecticut
