Wow! This is wild! Your build is almost EXACTLY what my build has been for the DLC. I've been mowing through nearly everything with ease with the Blasphemous blade too! Great video! Yes, I agree, this build slaps!!!!
Went from trying the staff cheese build back to this blade and tried some stuff from this video and 1 other and I got the DLC end boss down, the tree and the big dragon. Thanks 🙂
That's mostly what carried me through the DLC on NG+ 3 too. If you're using Howl of Shabiri anyway, might as well swap the Fire Scorpion for the Aged One's Exultation talisman, and swap to the Black Dumpling Helm and you'll get an extra 16% buff over the fire scorpion and Rakshasa helm.
Coming back to Elden Ring after beating over a year ago. Watching you just run through one of the most harrowing nightmare runs I had is hilarious. I remember every nerve wracking encounter you just run through and that godskin noble took me like 20 tries before I beat him.
BB has generally always been with me if not in main hand in secondary hand mainly for its awesome HP regen....and hits very hard too. After trying all sorts of the new weapons in the DLC I'm back to using Blasphemous in main hand to carry me through. It really is an amazing weapon and outshine most of the new weapons regardless of how they unfairly nerfed it recently.
For fire resistant guys like Fire Giant and Mohg I used powerstanced attacks saving Takers Flames for openings to get back health. Mohg's stance was broken twice and only difficulty with the Fire Giant was all the chasing after him. The real challenge is using Blasphemous Blade against its very own creator Rykard in NG+
Just wanna say if anyone struggling with rykard, you can also just throw on some gear with decent fire negation, eat the dried liver, and run up to the little open fleshy spot on the bottom of the snake (in both phases) and just keep doing the light attack over and over. Kills him pretty quickly just watch out for when does the full body spin in the first phase, and the jump attack in his 2nd.
Safety Tip: To get the Howl of Shabriri much easier, go to the left side of the tower down by the cliff, then use the spirit sprint to jump into the tower.
If you do the questline killing the NPC invaders you don't have to got through the manor as you will be teleported directly to Rykard by the matriarch of the manor.
Yeah it isn't bad, I just opt for a little more defense to the make my builds more casual friendly. Really, if your good at dodging you can go oil soaked with flame shroud, and then run ritual sword instead of dragoncrest if you really want to maximize the damage.
It's not recommended to do the Rykard fight super early if you care about NPC questlines and their rewards. If you kill Rykard early you'll miss the vocanic manor quests which give you a lot of good gears like the bull goat set.
Pretty sure the thorn sorcery is easily the best bleed build in the game right now. Only issue you have is if they are immune to bleed. But the base damage on the sorcery is high to. so if you on your first playthrough it probably still doesn't matter.
@@Negative_IQ_Gaming yes,no build is perfect,it depends on what you are fighting. I experimented with the blood fiend weapon in the snowfields. I destroyed those huge rock giants with like six hits! Nothing else I used came close to that.
Lol what you mean odds. 1000000%%%%% I have died to them. I don't remember if i died to them in that clip. But for sure I have been blown off the face of the earth by those things before.
Blaphemous blade is broken because of how simple it is to use. And you get health back when you hit and when you kill so it makes it a insanely noob friendly weapon as well to help people learn how to play souls games. But! bloodhound fang is a amazing weapon. But it takes some practice to use. And if im not mistaken you can get bloodhound fang early which is also super sweet so once you know how to use it you have a super good weapon you can get quickly even if you make a brand new character.
Hey were you able to beat Rahdan with it? I have used Bloodhound almost my entire play starting in the base game, was able to beat everyone, but I can't with Rahdan.
I do, but if you don't have the endurance then you can take pieces off. Wearing that set isn't mandatory it just gives you a damage boost of 2% per piece. So its like a 8% damage boost when you wear the whole set, but, you can always take off a piece or 2 to get back to a medium load.
@@Negative_IQ_Gaming I'm still on original game struggling with final boss. Am I missing anything if I just skip it and start the new dlc. Sorry if question seems confusing. Thx
Check out the builds from YourAverageGamer. He has a Blasphemous Blade build in his top 10. Prioritize Faith for Taker's Flames damage then Vigour, use Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri, have Shard of Alexander, Talisman of the Dread, Fire Scorpion Charm, Ritual Sword Talisman, if you're good swapping swap Age of Exultation when using Howl of Shabriri to proc the damage boost from madness then swap back the Talisman of your choice, try using Flame and Faith tear, (once used Stone Barb tear whatever floats your boat) and enjoy the game on easy mode.
Its all about what buffs your stacking. To do max damage you have to have to do golden vow, howl of shabriri, then make sure you have shard of alexander, fire scorpion charm, talisman of dread then its your choice between something like ritual sword or dragoncrest greatshield. You can also get the oil soaked tier plus the flame shroud tear instead of the hardtear in your flask for even more damage. But a big part of doing a bunch of damage is stacking the heck out of buffs. Also, if your in the DLC you need to get the shadowtree blessing up. I have like somewhere between 15-20 in this video so im doing almost 2x of the damage of someone who has like 6 on there shadow tree blessing. The separate scaling system in the dlc could be why its not hitting as hard as it should. Assuming your talking about the dlc area.
Use cooked crab instead of boiled prawn.... you can get it if you progress the questline of Blackguard Big Boggart a little bit further, so he sits in Altus Plateau
With a few new talisman (such as Dread), the blade being tweaked/nerfed and a bunch of new players/old vets coming back due to the DLC, there is nothing wrong with revising the Blasphemous Blade build and making videos about them.
Some bosses are immune to bleed but can still be dealt with bleed weapons. Rykard's Serpentblade is the noob friendliest unless you count Rivers of Blood pre nerf.
Hey, to each there own. some people don't like to do bleed builds. I love doing faith builds in all the souls games. But im weird and roleplay in my head that im a paladin trying to bring the light to this dark world. I will purify all of darkness in this world in the name of the light. And there is so much darkness in souls games haha
