That... Would actually be a neat trick in a playthrough maybe. For a wiring playthrough maybe, since the temple has all the good traps. I don't think you can mine the traps, but maybe you can use actuators to free them? Would be interesting to see what could be done

There will have to be some blocks that the player could stand on, so the teleportation potion would teleport the player onto the blocks they are on. This could be bypassed by having the player bury themselves with sand, then drink the potion.

@@carbonbeaker409 I mean, yes. But think of it this way: imagine a disease, any. How can you tell a person has that disease? Symptoms like coughing, rashes, any sort of out of the ordinary conditions, because they make you "stand out" among the healthy people. Now imagine if everyone had said disease from the get go, like the second you're born you are ill already. No one would be able to tell that there is something wrong with people because the symptoms are natural, since they happen to everyone, and the disease itself wouldn't exist as we don't acknowledge it. Weird example but I think it's an okay one

I can already confirm this, it just stops moving and if you somehow hit it it doesn’t go anywhere. You can also just place blocks on top of golf balls for the same effect.

I have a feeling the duneriders only worked because you had sand above your head, what would happen if you removed the sand from the part of the platform you're not running on?

I think it's because duneriders aren't coded as 'on top of' sand, but instead 'on sand', period. Where as, say, water walking allows you to walk on top of water, specifically, so they never coded it to work when you are beneath the water. If duneriders are only checking to make sure the players feet are touching sand, it would explain the difference.

5:30 I remember when I was new to the game (and gaming in general) and got my first goblin invasion. So I kept fighting and dying over and over again with no end in sight. So what did big brained 10-year old me think would help? Summoning the Eye of Cthulhu. Because my reasoning was, “Maybe they’ll fight each other” Which went as well as you’d expect. So my next idea was to summon Skeletron because “maybe the big eye won’t fight the small enemies but the big skeleton might fight the big eye” I still vividly remember me running with my Hermes boots with goblins, the Eye of Cathulhu and Skeletron following me. P.s. I “evacuated” from that world and never touched the corruption again until I learned that the invasion ends at some point (thanks to a let’s play)

@@helizteil2625 I don’t think I died until after skeletron was summoned. I summoned the eye, it started attacking me and I realized that was a mistake, then I ran towards the dungeon. This happened +-8 years ago on ios. So my memory might be wrong.

It happened with me on master mode for the worthy, I was in the underground to delay the goblin invasion. I got the message of Eye of Cthulu spawning. I had forgot about the invasion, came to the surface to prepare potions for EoC. The goblins killed me

I had to take on twins and pirate invasion the first night in hardmode(I delayed the invasion by going underground but then I accidentally used recall pot and "this is going to be a horrible night" popped up. So I went down to my wof bridge right after twins spawned in and tried to fight them but got murdered by a hell bat lmao

[This myth requires 2 players or idk] Myth: One person kills 49 of a certain enemy. Then leaves the game after shooting a projectile to the 50th enemy. If the projectile kills the 50th enemy, will the message that appears when you have killed a 50th of an enemy show the name of the player that killed the enemy or the remaining player?

Ive done this using a mod to generate both evils. It counts the orbs and hearts together and the spawned boss is based on the third one you destroy. (Also theres an easter egg seed in 1.4 that spawns both evils and can be done that way)

If you use the seed 05162020 in 1.4, you'll have both the Crimson and Corruption in the same world, along with Living Trees having Moon Lord Legs and Red Potion inside their chests. (wiki btw)

You might wanna retest the dunerider boots myth. Your head was in direct contact with the sand below, and as we know from the flower boots and brittle ice, that does have an effect. That aside, great video! I love seeing you test these things that I honestly have never even thought of

About the Dashes, while stacking them is technically useless in a vacuum, remember that you cannot use Solar Dash without your shield charged. This means that having Master Ninja Gear with Solar Armor will consistently give you the ability to dash, regardless of shield charge level, and also gives you that sweet dodge chance.

The corruption test was giving problems because the Dryad doesn't update her results in real time or immediately after a map save, her results seem to update after a certain amount of in-game time elapses. There's probably a code check at a specific time or times of day to update the numbers.

At 9:42, the Torch God event can be triggered with fewer torches than the normal number if you move upward. Because of the way the game counts torches around you over several frames, it caused the torches to get counted many times. However, you won't get the Torch God's Favor unless there were at least 95 actual torch attacks.

Dunno if somebody explained it but also said in the wiki by now, the way torches are calculated makes it possible for a torch to count multiple times when moving, with fast movement like you had that effect would obviously increase in severity

A random fun fact that you may want to try: setting spears to auto attack (with mods) will cause their hitboxes to not despawn, allowing you to make a force field of hitboxes, this also works with lances (just stop holding the lance then click and hold right before it fully retracts and you'll achieve the same effect), lances that produce particles when swung will also continually spawn particles where the hitbox is If you stop holding the button the hitboxes despawn The Flamelash/Magic Missile also have some weird behaviours with auto-swing on

for the flying knife and yoyo one you need to have the Titan Glove equipped. The auto swing effect of the Titan Glove allows for both to be out at the same time
