Myth: if you stand in water, and use those white blocks, to have your head in lava, which one overrides it, will you burn? The other way around, will you drown and burn?
The white blocks are bubble blocks which encase liquids, and you (plus npcs/criterrs/monsters) will take damage from lava if not using lava-proof items, the "on flames" debuff will be instantly doused but straight up lava damage will be received like dungeon spikes, very convenient for making killing pits to keep mobs away from your spawn
if you are gonna test that try testing other traps (using timers/ a friend haha imagine having friends) also test buffs like honey (is that the only one)
Guess, its possible to skip every damage projectile, because as you can use this hook to literally teleport through bosses, like Skeletron or Twins (tested in normal mode playthrough)
HorseEatsDogFood what do you mean by that? I’m pretty sure switching hot bar makes you go back to normal vision... maybe if you flicked a lever for some boss spawn? Is that even possible in golf view?
Every boss is doable except Golem that needs a manual interaction (Skeletron is a bit tricky as you need to use some slow projectile, swing the golf then the Clothier is killed)
So this will be a myth to test when 1.4.1 comes out but I’m asking you to please keep it on your list... Myth: If you place a bone glove in a weapon rack before 1.4.1 then it will stay in after the update even though it is an accessory.
@@Roddinn7228 Yeah I'm kind of pissed about the change I wish they had kept the old bone glove as a separate item say call it the bone slinger as a regular drop from Skeletron. But nope they straight up ditched the weapon the accessory will not be the same. :(
by following the rules of the hearts/orbs of this episode the one spawning will be the boss proper to the last breakable summon, thus rendering the summon worthless because they will despawn outside of their proper biome
It's not possible because it will despawn out of the biome when you swap biomes to get the destroyer while having brain of chtulhu at that seed with both biomes, but in cheat sheet and t-edit I guess it is
Naturally it would be impossible but if it's man-made then probably yes, like for example if someone made both biomes close to each other but not naturally
On the note of the spawning critters to stop enemies from spawning, that *used* to work. They now have a different spawn limit that is independent of enemies. The main speed run strategy used bird statues to break half the bosses in the game by despawning parts of them. You can now do a similar affect by spawning so many critters that it overloads the entity limit instead of the critter limit. The critters have to be spaced out more though so it's a bit trickier.
Myth: Pink Slime Blocks can bounce you hundreds of blocks up, if the player jumps from the top of the world to the bottom of the world with one layer of pink slime at the bottom!
You were very close on the entity limit test. 200 entities is the limit, but you can only place critters until there are 150 entities in the world. I would love to see a revised test where you place 150 critters, then spawn the EoC and wait for it to make many servants, then do the same with BoC, and possibly even EoW? Then try a goblin army
Myth: of you go to the dungeon in pre-speletron on the 05162020 seed, you can find dungeon enemies in the starting room if you hug the opposite wall (but no mechanic)
Myth: If there are two dungeon entrances (the original one and an artificial one, built the exact same way), killing Golem will spawn two cultists at both of the dungeons
Myth: if the world is filled in in the path of the wall of flesh with only one block open on top of the outside of the map the wall of flesh will be able to go out of view.
8:20 AFAIK, Critters and Enemies have different spawn limits. Crabs, however, are excluded from the "critter" list. Myth: Hitting spawn cap with Crabs can prevent enemies from spawning during events.
Myth: Breaking multiple shadow orbs or crimson hearts will summon multiple bosses(also try if there is another boss that isnt summoned by breaking orbs or hearts)
The myth at 7:40 with npcs and invasions could be redone in a different way, critters and things the player summons can not fill up the spawn limit completely, but on the for the worthy seed, bunny statues summon fake explosive bunnies that can completely fill it up. Summon lots of explosive bunnies this way and it should now work
If you look very closely at 7:58, you might notice a subtle triforce which may or may not be attributed to the somewhat known ‘legend of zelda’ series.
I think the way the hook of dissonance may work (haven't searched in the code whatsoever, could be completely wrong) is that it just does what normal hooks would do over several ticks in one tick, looking at the position of player/hook, moving the player towards the hook, checking for collisions.
This one is actually useful. If you figure it out, we might build sky bridges to save our builds. If not, then it would save us the time of having to build sky bridges.
If you only have one boss summon you should be able to switch since the slot is now empty. Maybe even try it when the summoning item is held in the cursour

myth: if a world is filled with blocks but there's a space out of bounds not filled with blocks, you can get out of bounds using a teleportation potion
A change to the myth about breaking the orbs and hearts, try breaking a heart in the corruption and an orb in the crimson to rule out the biome being the deciding factor
Myth: if you place sand on blocks out of bounds right next to the edge of the world and actuate the bottom blocks, the sands closer to the edge won’t fall. (AKA the outer 10 blocks)

the sand thing is interesting, if you drop the sand onto something where it automatically breaks upon landing it could be a very difficult challenge but theoretically doable lol
New master mode edition, eater of worlds and destroyer break blocks in they hit, skeleton can now grab you with his hands, moon lord takes you to the moon and you get a space rebuff, being in space slowly kills you, king slime can occasionally absorb you and deal damage over a short period of time, and much more!
