Literally this... exactly... reminds me of when me and my roommate would brew beer and drink it in our kegerator all night while running heroic dungeons and raiding until 4 a.m.... now I'm married with a kid, and am in bed most nights by 11....
This makes me feel nostalgic to the point that it hurts. I was just a little kid when I made my first blood elf. I'm 22 going on 23 now... Crazy how time flies.
Exactly! I'm also 22, and I can vividly remember my first undead warlock. I remember being extremely fascinated when I saw a blood elf player for the first time outside Undercity! I did not have the expansions yet, and as a child it truly felt unique to finally encounter a blood elf. Time flies indeed.
24 here, but I was about 23 when y’all made these comments so it works out still. Exact same thing, I literally had a group of friends that would hangout everyday with in falcon wing square. There was a whole community there - go back to falconwing square today or silvermoon and all that’s gone :/ RIP best game ever.
@@BillyTheKidOfficialYT I also would hang out with a group of friends there. Can't believe it was a decade ago now...gonna 25 next month. Miss those days sometimes.
I was also so tempted to include: "Lament of the Highborne" track too. I know it's very much related to Sylvanas who's now considered an Undead though.
It reminds me of things I've never lived, places I recall that I've never been... It's weird to think about that. I can recall things like me and my friends sitting on the benches of Sunstrider Isle drinking something and feeling the wet and warm weather hitting our faces, while watching the sunset far away in the horizon. I can't even explain exactly what it feels. It makes me feel like 17 again, and I'm 31 rn. Thank you for this video.
Oh that feeling of making a Blood Elf Paladin and running around completing quest and fighting your way down into the undead area to meet knucklerot and Luzran!!! Memories!!!
When I was 9 years old I played as undead. It must have been in 2010 or 2011. One memory sticks out: when I discovered the portal from Silvermoon from Undercity. It all feels like a dream, a mystery, something that happened so far past in the distant, the memories of exploring that city and exploring the blood elf music. Now I am in college, video games don't feel like that anymore, yet listening to this music takes me back.
Wow this takes me back. Way simpler times. Still in highschool, so I'm probably 16 years old, maybe 17. I decide to finally level a blood elf after only being an Alliance player. I decide to make a blood elf paladin. I load in and am immediately met with the music and ambience of the zone... I'd take my laptop over to my friends to have a hangout and sleepover and we'd just both be playing WoW, doing different things. I remember how beautiful this zone was and I loved what the NPC's would say to you when spoken too lol. I'm 30 now almost 31, and I still play. But I don't think I'll ever be able to recreate THAT feeling again. Everything is different now. Good or bad it doesn't matter. I miss the simple days. Just going to school, coming home and logging on to see what was happening.
Since i started WoW in general i started with Burning Crusade! First character female warlock Bloodelf. Since then i moved on from warlock to Paladin.. but always as a Bloodelf Listening to this makes me feel like i am home! Sin Dorei forever!
Although I'm loyal to the alliance through and through, if i have to play Horde, Blood Elves are my favorite to play no doubt (and, forgive my bluntness, vulperas) so i can see where you're coming from. as a huge fan of the original warcraft series, the story of the blood elves in Warcraft 3 has always been very fascinating to me, and i have so much respect for the Sin'Dorei and their history. (Still i am still pissed off abt the way they wrote kael'thas in TBC and especially Shadowlands, him and sylvanas were my favorite!)
Who composed this music? What a genius . And most likely someone who didn’t know too much about WoW. Probably was given a quick rundown of blood elf culture and told to make a song out of it, and they knocked the shit out of the park.
I swear, somewhere around the 3/4 mark of Falcon's Watch I heard the faintest roar of a Fel Reaver. I took a double-take, paused my lecture notes, and switched back to this tab. Lo and behold there's a Fel Reaver in the background! (I tried to go back and see if I could find it, but I think I might be losing my mind now.)
Meisio, thank you for this video. It brings back such fond and cherished memories of being a kid again. Night's and weekend's of being a teenager, playing WoW with my closest friends as we explored all WoW had to offer back then. Burning Crusade has always been my favorite expansion, and there is nothing more memorable than rolling brand new Blood Elf characters with four of my buddies, and leveling up through these beautiful lands together. Even to this day, I'll still listen to this in the background as I work, paint, and clean. Thank you.
11:00 When you see how this was designed even back in 2007 to be beautiful to view from the sky, it is a shame that they don’t finally allow flying in this zone. Just look how the city emerges from the forest.
It would probably take a lot of extra work to develop areas that were otherwise unaccessable and unimportant that players would DEFINITELY go and explore.
I was only 3 when this game came out. Growing up with my grandma, dad and uncle in the same house with my first memories of them raiding in black temple. This soundtrack has stuck with me since I was a kid now I’m 21. I can’t wait for wrath classic
I`m 24 today and have been gaming since I was 5 or 6.... can`t even remember at this point. What we call video-games have been the best invention of humankind in terms of entertaining and maybe even education. I`ve learned english from playing games and they contributed greatly to making me a team player. They`ve also made me seek mistery... I`ve read books because of videogames. They are like alternate universes, I love em.
The Blood Elf music is masterful. I love all the Warcraft music, but don’t think any other music in Warcraft captures the full scope and aesthetic of a narrative the way this music does for the story of the Blood Elves. You can follow their entire narrative arc from Warcraft 3 to the end of TBC in the way the music evolves and changes.
The memories are princess thank your meisio Eversong woods, zangarmarsh and gates of anqiraj music for me brings me most painful melancholic days when I was happy playing with my team friends till late
Probably best zone and music ever made. Great job everytime Meisio! Btw, how do you capture like that, this slowly floating camera movement? It's just about information, I want to understand my fascination :)
I am excited to visit any Classic content like it used to. I did not play much TBC back in the days, but I am committed to play a fair share of it this time :)
Very nice work - only thing I would have added was the Lament of the Highborn event in UC... all the BE themes are based on that piece of music and I think anyone who played TBC as Horde saw that event and was floored by it.
I never really played with blood elves, but I always liked their music themes and ambience. This is why I love this video! You really did a great work! Thank you, Meisio!!
thank you so much for putting these together over the years! Amazing. This one is my fav though, the songs and scenery of BC blood elves was very special, and never went away.
I feel like I am a copycat now, another proof which I can also offer that I wasn't influenced at all is the fact that I've announced this video on my Patreon on 11th of February: www.patreon.com/meisio I've also put a lot of work in it by filming it on a TBC server, showing only the classic experience / music.
Nope, no idea what's going on. Maybe the Field of View (FOV) low? Have you tried to play it with max distance? I think the max camera distance is 50 yards and it should offer a comfortable FOV.
Could you do a video where we can go around the world with music? You might be able to make it so the camera goes through stormwind and duskwood or something like that
That's a lot of work, especially because these video take me even 10 days to produce it... Have you seen the Factions playlist? (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WwcGGkvEIHE.html&ab_channel=Meisio ) Here's a sample of the Humans: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0hefq5R8gBA.html
@@Meisio I want to also mention that these videos are outstanding. Not just because of the Music and atmosphere of Azeroth that you're capturing (which we all love), but the attention to detail... listing the name of the track as a subtitle, adding the composers or each track in the description, as well as a brief synopsis of the zone and it's inhabitants. It truly is a masterpiece in it's own right. Thank you for all you are doing with these videos!
Hey man, quick question: where did you get all those tracks from? Apparently only a small amount of the in-game music made it into the published soundtrack.
You deserve Jaina turned asian, half of the belfs are dark brown now. i scoffed at people chanting about "wokeism" but after blood elfs were ruined I tend to agree it is a problem. im not racist but it just is extremely unsuitly, maybe theyre from STV?
