Watching that poor baby suffer from the atrocity committed upon her by evil poachers makes me weep. That she trusts any human after all she has been through is amazing.
Baby Fenya I am sending you lots of love! I am sorry that you have to suffer, you are an innocent baby! Many thanks to all the dedicated people at HERD!
It truly "takes a village" to save the lives of these beautiful, fragile babies. Thank you ALL, including Setombe, for answering the call. God's blessings upon you. Be brave, young Fenya! The joy lies ahead.
It’s heartbreaking to see this amazing baby animal in this state. Thank god there are good people like you there to try and save her. Every elephant is precious. Keep up the great work!
It's really ironic. Some people try to save an elephant so hard like this, while others easily kill them because of ivory. Hope fenya grow healthy with everyone's love and sincerity🐘🙏❤️
Las incongruencias de la vida gente que nace para hacer el bien y otra perdida en su egocentrismo banal que son los tóxicos de la humanidad y matan como "deporte' ojalá la vida les haga lo mismo
Thanks to beautiful Setombre for donating blood to revive our sweet and feisty Fenya. How heartwarming to see the HERD team working in unison to bring our girl back to health. There is good in this weary old world yet!❤️❤️❤️
Poor baby girl. You are all angels for taking care of these beautiful and innocent creatures. Praying hard for little Fenya and everyone taking care of her. Thank you for all you do.
Praying that your health returns as soon as possible. You are loved and very much needed to all the humans that know you. Sending you big hugs and kisses you are so brave keep fighting to 💘
That standing sedation has got to be one of the best developments in recent times. You don’t have to risk the ellies falling wrong or having to get up from the ground when they have an injury, and it affords access to all of the body for the vets.
Lammie looks so sweet standing there! Fenya please pull through. I’m so impressed with the time the team has been with Fenya to help her pull through. So much love everyone has for this sweet girl. 🙏❤️🙏
same with me, but I am a retired critical care RN. I found the use of the colloid solution interesting as we also use that for humans who are desperately anemic and either refuse blood due to religious beliefs or are unable to be safely matched to a blood transfusion due to the patient having many uncommon antibodies in their blood. I have witnessed patients close to death almost miraculously recovering thanks to the “blood expanders” and fluid resuscitation.
They tried everything to save you, little Fenya, but it was not possible; it was very hard but you tried too. You are now a bright star in the South African sky. 💗🐘 ⭐️
I never heard, fortunately, hoping I don't. But killing animals for other reasons than food, or saving the habitat, is really low ethics. And hope we solve the killing for meat part soon as possible too.
Ppl, if you're unable to donate, pls keep watching all the commercials, without turning them off, as the YT-creator (HERD) will get around 1 dollar for each commercial shown!
Please help Fenya's recovery by donating. Even a dollar or two makes a big difference. I don't have much but donated what I could. Also, spread awareness! Let friends know about these wonderful elephants and the great work everyone at HERD is doing. That doesn't cost a thing! Please subscribe, like and comment if you care about Fenya!💕🐘💕
HERD will be happy with your loving donation, they have made it clear that each and "every penny " is appreciated. Thank you for caring so much and helping them!
that is good- i'm currently umnemployed so all i can do is sending them a prayer from afar 😔 but i promise myself to do so once i have an income 😇 and hopefully soon
@@sharong8511 just google HERD elephant orphanage and u will see website they have a donation page they also have many articles /historyabout each elephant .
I worried all night that she would be gone by morning. I am happy to see the team is still fighting for her. I actually started crying, and I don’t cry.
When I watch this video only one thing comes to mind... I have great faith in humanity and what some people are doing to preserve every living creature.
So much hope for Fenya's survival is pouring in from all of us. She has a very long road ahead of her, poor baby. If it weren't for those of you at HERD, little ones like Fenya and Khanyisa would not survive. Thank you. 💝
Poor girl. She is still so terrified. I wish her peace, serenity, and calmness all 'round her as she continues to struggle to regain her physical strength while simultaneously overcoming the deep horror and sorrow having so recently lost her entire world. Best to the entire team do all you can for this precious little being!
@@alias3549 -- They can smell the medicines and probably recall that Khanyisa smelled the same way... but she's fine now, so whatever is happening with the young stranger is likely to turn out fine.
Two months alone with a snare around her neck, amazing she's still alive at this point. Sadly, I've seen the other notifications that this darling Fenya didn't make it, what a loss. She seemed like she was so full of fight in the video you released showing her initial progress for the first six days in your care. God prevailed and wanted her back with him as she was so weak and her fight to survive seemed to vanish. It was brilliant of you to introduce Khanyisa in hopes to give Fenya a friend to live for but wasn't enough. God Bless HERD!!!
Like the other lady here, we noticed Lammie watching everything! She's a precious Mommy always. Your doing such a wonderful job, doing everything possible for Fenya, sending love & prayers from Michigan! Give Lammie kiss for us!
Hi Darla. Watching from lockdown in Ontario. Isn’t it amazing how devoted and passionate these people are with these babies? Bless wee Fenya. Stay well and have a happy day. 🇨🇦❤️🐘
Awwww this poor baby girl has been through so much. Of course Lammie was right outside checking on her charge. Thanks to this wonderful team for taking care of Fenya. Praying for a full recovery 🙏🐘❣️🐑🥰❤️
Hats off to Dr. Rogers and his team. You guys did an amazing job! So professional, calm and efficient. Thank you for doing what you do. And thank you also to all the carers of HERD and Adine, you guys are all wonderful! So much love and dedication for all these elephants in your care. I will continue to pray for Fenya and for all of you at HERD too. God bless you all! ❤️🙏🏻
What an amazing team she has there! Between the amazing carers, vets & HERD staff she is in such good hands. She also has so many friends from all around the world sending her love, prayers and positive energy! This little one is certainly not lacking in love. Special thanks to Setombe! ❤️
Sending lots of love, prayers and healing energy to lil baby angel Fenya, who has already been through so much trauma and pain. Get well soon; may God keep you safe, happy and healthy always darling heart ❤ ❤
@@pearlbonnie1369 Claudette: Though I have donated to help as often as I can including for Fenya, I am familiar with much research with human patients and it has definitely been shown ( yes by scientific methods not just hearsay) that prayers and healing energy can help tremendously) even when patients did not know they were being prayed for. Yes donate too if you can but please do not discourage people who can (only) generously give love, prayers and healing energy from sending it! Thanks
Cliche' to say but, imagine getting Setombe blood to help you heal. That is hero's blood, survivors blood, the strongest of the strong blood. True Kings blood. Setombe, literally may have saved Fenya's life with that blood. Now, no matter what, they are ALL FAMILY. Fenya baby girl, you are the bravest and the strongest, and we see that because your future family is the SAME WAY, they are just like you and have been where you were. We are all behind you, you got this! WE LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH! Whenever I see our Lammie The Legend, I can't help but chuckle at the amazing loyalty and endearing poses. Everyone in the HERD, especially her future Ele family know what Fenya is fighting for, Khanyisa knows of course, and they are all behind her. Keep donating guys! I will come back and post this every single day until you are better if I have to. Don't give up, keep fighting!
It was amazing to see Setombe just standing there giving blood. Yes Doc gave a tranquilizer but we all know if she didn't want to give there is no drug that could make her donate. Once again see how humans could learn from the animals generosity.
I thought she looked sad yesterday, but she probably just didn’t feel well. Poor love. She must have felt so weak and rundown. I hope this will help her. There are so many good people around her. Lammie and the the other elephants looked so concerned as they waited too. Get strong baby Fenya, you’ve got a beautiful life ahead of you.
I understand that the sad videos were from before this video's activities; happy, run-around video was from after. Why they are a bit out of order, I don't know, but at least we get to see why she should be feeling better now 😃😄😊🐘
I was thinking she didnt look well when she didnt come over to greet Kaniysa. It was if she had only the energy to stand still. Oh making me cry thinking of her. Hope tomoro is a better day. I am in awe of the team 💗
I saw something like this with a rescue of starved horses years back. For some, the digestive system had shut down so far that even with veterinary directed feedings, some could not recover the ability to process food. It was beyond sad. The abuser was prosecuted.
Yes the intestines also become sticky where they collapse on themselves, the wall to wall contact causes stickiness & close. I know this as I rescued a cat who had starved for who knows how long and I almost couldn’t save him. He did not defecate for 2-3wk after I was feeding him bc of this but I’m happy to say not only did he make it, he is 10y, been very loved and travelled the world with me (I did not leave him behind) he now lives in australia with me. His name is merlin I love him very much & he never forgot I saved his life
Donation on the way. This is going to be one lulu of a vet bill, one among many. So thankful for you all, that you do whatever is needed to take care of these babies. Looking forward to the same wonderful outcome that you have with Khanyisa.
As someone mentioned before, It takes a village and this shows that. It was special to see Kensani calming Fenya. I remember early on learning to feed Khanyisa her bottle and she’s a pro now. To all the team, blessings
I just got so distressed for fenja i started to cry. Could you put dates on reports so it is easy for people who are 80years to keep up to date with what is happening . Thanks
That's astounding! Doing transfusions from one elephant to another, giving her drips of glucose. Our poor Fenya has been through so much, but everyone there has worked tirelessly to help her heal. Bless you all!💕 I hope Fenya will continue to heal. She's an amazing little elephant! I love you, Feyna!💕🐘💕 P.S. I also love Khanyisa the albino princess ellie, Lammie the Wonder Sheep, and all of the herd of big elephants! 💕🐘🐑🐘💕
So heartbreaking to know humans (poachers)cause so much pain and suffering for these precious souls. 💔😞Thank you so much HERD team for your nonstop dedication love and support to help these beauties! ❤️🙏🏼🐘❤️
This was quite a tricky process but what amazing teamwork from everybody!! So impressed with everyone. Incredible how 3 litres of blood can make such a difference! It seems that it was a very close call for this little one. She has been through such an ordeal and has a long way to go but she is receiving the best possible care. Thank you Setombe and everyone doing their utmost to save Precious Fenya. 💜🐘💜🙏🙏🙏
Be assured that we are with you in every moment with our hearts and feelings full of love, mercy and hope. We are appreciated and thankful for everything you do, so may God bless you
I keep praying for this awesome fighter. Her wounds are severe. She is in great care, that's very obvious. I pray for you and your entire team that God will give you strength, rest, and wisdom. Be Blessed
When the doctor was crouched down by Setombe’s leg, at the start of the video, it was a good visual to show just how huge these ellies are 😳. I am so thankful Fenya is in great hands and that she was found when she was! Thank you again Herd for sharing all of this with us ❤️.
I know myself after several blood transfusions, Fenya feels like a hundred bucks. Adine, you are a angel sent from the heavens to care for these beautiful babies we have on earth. Every video I watch, gives me chills. Poor Lammie, she knows her friend needs her and she wants in the nursery with Fenya. I thank god fir sending you.❤️❤️😘
Oh Honey whats wrong... I understand you have been through alot ... oh my goodness I'm sending out to you sweetheart love and light asking the angels to do what they can.... love and light ❤😇🇨🇦
I started watching pretty soon after Khanyisa was brought in, and watched some videos backwards, but missed that one. That'll be interesting to see after this.
Thank you photographer for filming the struggles of the beatle almost under the elephants foot. How interesting that you noticed it instead of just filming the blood being drawn. So many things go on around us that we just don't see.
