Visited Morocco this past March, 1-12...I can't believe how much I fell in love with the country, people, culture... everything. We stayed in the Blue city for a night and left early next morning. Every city is unique, and I can say I don't have a favorite one. I can't wait to go back, one day.
I visited the blue city four years ago, a magical city, simple people, and what fascinated me was the Ashqur waterfalls and the very cold water. What astonished me, its residents deal with tourists as if you were in your second country. I loved them very generously from their safety and security and what I saw in Morocco traveling from city to city while you watch four seasons in One week, you go to the south, you find summer and north winter season, and east Faisal autumn and west winter season, all this in one day, Morocco loved you so much
I swear to u that this is the best chefchaouen vlog ive ever watched and actually enjoyed. I am in florida now but i can't wait to go there this summer as my father's from there
Hello ❤ Why is the city of Chefchaouen "the blue diamond" painted in blue? The legend tells, that in this city lived a girl of a great beauty, the tradition wanted that the women veil showing only their eyes, then and to be recognized and to be distinguished from the other girls of the small city by her lover who was a young and handsome boy from the city with whom she shared a love of a rare passion, she put blue kohl (she had blue eyes in other version because of her andalusian origins) on her beautiful eyes, they met by the stream in a discreet corner away from view to rejoice and fill there eyes with the face of the beloved, their love for each other was so great, so strong, (but there parent was against their union) ... that one day at sunset they were found entwined but inanimated at the edge of the stream, the whole city was all affected by the purity of this love of these two young people, So the next day, all the girls in town painted the facades of their houses in blue To honor the memory of the two lovers ... and it has lasted until now This is what the legend says Thank you for the video 🌹🌹🌹
According to some locals, the walls were mandated to be painted blue simply to attract tourists at some point in the 1970s. ( Wikipedia source ) It's a beautiful city, but, What a cheap way made by the government, by force, because of the dictatorship. This proves the Lack of history and culture of that city.
