The Blue Rider: Group Dynamics 

After a heated discussion, Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc and Gabriele Münter announced their resignation from the Neue Künstlervereinigung München in 1911. Just two weeks later, they set up a counter-exhibition with their colleagues.
Without these and other moments of friction, exchange or friendship, the artists of the Blauer Reiter would probably have developed differently than we know and appreciate them today. Groups thrive on union and rupture, their dynamics are unpredictable. How do exchange, networks and collaborative work influence artistic production - but also our everyday life today?
