Jimmy Reed - started out as a Delta blues singer then, like so many, moved to Chicago and electric blues. Saw him in a small club in London about 1964. His 12 bar and harp playing was fairly basic but said it all.

What a great teacher you are. Blessed with a beautiful voice and a deep understanding of the roots and the way musical styles are connected. For instance, the way you make clear the difference between classical and blues music from 4:50 to 5:10. I am listening to you while the votes of the US election are still coming in.

Spot on about the blues! Memphis on the Mississippi and Beale Street is where you will find the blues. Jazz you will find in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I’m thinking through research and knowledge that not all of your history is correct. Your tutorial is great. Black people did invent and compose great music.
