@@heypistolero that's the funny thing though Dan just is Tina! Like it's not a character he's literally just like that, shy and adorably awkward. It makes his stand up really fun to watch
If that's the case you probably shouldn't meet the voice actors for Ash Ketchum, Tommy from the rugrats, Bart Simpson, the original Japanese voice actress of Naruto, Dexter, the Japanese voice actor for Goku, Charlie Brown, and the list goes on and on..
@@terrancejovan4825 ash is understandable to be a girl, tommy is understandable to be a girl, any male japanese voice that isnt mega deep is understandable to be a girl lol. Charlie brown is understandable to be a girl. Also naruto's english voice actor is female which was a shock to me. Bart was a shock as well and linda was just epic confusion lol, at first thought you'd never expect a man would emmit that voice. And the list indeed goes on Kid goku and teen/gohan from dub are voiced by girls( a good among of kid boy characters in anime are girls if we are being general) Kevin from ed edd and eddy is voiced by a girl had me shook for a bit Yugi's grandfather solomon is voiced by a girl, also surprising Etc.
I think Kristen (Louise) and Dan (Tina) were quieter cause their characters are harder to improvise for, at least when trying to be funny spontaneously. Louise and TIna's funniest lines always feel like they were well thought out before recording.
Literally all of them are like perfect for their role. They mesh so well with their characters. Gene’s VA looks like an older version of him, Linda’s VA is loud and proud like she is, Tina’s VA is shy and quiet just like her it’s perfect they’re literally made for eachother
I honestly don’t think a single other cartoon on TV right now could do this, and make it work so goddamn well, because every one of these guys were literally TRAINED to improvise like champions lol.
blindthief Hi! I cannot remember where I read this or if/how you can find it, but supposedly in the pre-pilot pilot, the Tina character was a boy. I am not sure why they switched it, but Dan Mintz is GOLDEN! And Gene perfectly carries the boy role all by himself 😆
I have a theory... you know how Tina checks out guy's butts?? It would be really creepy if it was boy just staring at girl butts. What I am trying to say is that Tina's jokes wouldn't work as well if she was a boy.
Dude, John and Larry (Linda and Teddy) are fantastic at improv, Eugene and Harry (Gene and Bob) play really well off other people, Kristen (Louise) seems like she's play 4D chess in her mind, trying to think of the perfect joke and Dan (Tina) acts kinda like Tina
I love that Dan has to turn and look at John, that he has to have this conversation face to face in order to be a part of it. It makes me wonder if they actually work together in the studio during recordings.
I met the guy who does Tina’s vocals, apparently his parents live in Alaska and he was up visiting them and they were walking on the trail that we were walking on, it was cool.
It's crazy how much I love this cast! They are so talented! As a voice over artist I hope to get a character on a show as awesome as Bob's Burgers someday. I remember the guy who plays Bob voicing a character in Science Court when I was a kid.
I did not know Linda was played as a guy. Thats so fucking cool! I love how female actresses can play male characters and male actors play female characters. I love it so much
