Aude, thank you for adding a few words about the importance of exercise to your mental health and your productivity overall! I am 80 years old and have come to the same conclusions. It is important and needs to be a priority for many of us! Your knits are amazing and a real inspiration!😊
Aude, your colorwork is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to see what your designs using cats will be in your shop. Serious cat lover here. Hope your birthday is wonderful and enjoy treating yourself!!
I am absolutely in love with this green. It is such a good color. The fit looks great. Loks very good on you. I saw your pictures from the photoshoot 😍 I just gasped when you showed your Celeste. It is stunning! Great to see you, Aude! ❤
I hope you got snow for your birthday! Loved all your makes in this episode. The green in the Ruhe sweater is lovely. Thank you for mentioning exercise in relation to mental health, I find it very useful for me also. I like the sound of your routine. I think a newsletter would be great. I’m always pleased to get one from a small business.
Hello, a newsletter to inform shop update, or new creations, would be so nice, I think. After your podcast, I've bought Lakeside Stitches, and you were so right, all the patterns are amazing ! I want to knit all of them too... I dream about a cabled sweater for so long, and the Iltatuuli is gorgeous. The yarn she used, is a very airy yarn, I've already knitted a sweater with it. Thank you for the book ! It was a so good idea !
Oh yay! I'm so glad you're enjoying the book as well. 😃 The patterns are so stunning! It's great to hear that the recommended yarn for the cabled sweater is good yarn. I have not yet knit with any of the Wool Dreamers yarn but I really want to try it. ❤️
YES! Aude I thought the exact same about the Celeste sweater and that band at the end of the yoke, great mode! I will definitely use yours if I make it 😊
Hello Aude, I love your testknit sweater, beautiful! Thank you so much for all the information about the Celestesweater, its going to be also beautiful 😀 enjoy knitting. I enyod your podcast, greetings Anita
Really cute sweater, those colors are so nice on you. Do the kitties get into your yarn if you don’t carefully tuck it away when you’re done knitting for the day? My 3 boys do, although I’ve never caught the guilty party.
@@maryimmesberger9272 Thanks! ❤ No, strangely enough, they don't seem much interested in the yarn. They don't really live up to the reputation of cats in that regard. 😂
Absolutely loved your Celeste sweater Aude. It would be really interesting to hear more about your life in France before you moved to Scotland Being an expat myself, it is always interesting to hear about other people’s journey Von in Aus ❤
Thank you! ❤️ You're not the only one who seems curious about my life in France before moving to Scotland. I'm thinking of maybe filming a "Knit & Chat - Q&A" video to answer those questions.
I would never have guessed that is your first color work sweater! Absolutely beautiful! I love all of your projects. Sari Nordlunds book is also on my wish list, it looks gorgeous ❤
Aude, I wish you a wonderful birthday. I see a wonderful, confident young woman in you. I am glad you have learnt the best way to prioritize yourself and that clearly reflects in all your achievements both in your personal, professional life and crafting. Wishing you an awesome birthday and a great year ahead. Your colorwork projects are inspiring..That's something I have been wanting to do and I am yet to take the plunge...
Aude, I hope you have a wonderful birthday. your colorwork is amazing!! Love your ideas and the way you think out the process of projects....gives me inspiration. Thank you. And I think a newsletter would be great, especially for updates and release dates.
Oh I really recommend knitting the Bakker scarf, I am currently knitting it and it’s really nice. Also, I completely agree with starting the day with that kind of routine, I find it very helpful too!!! Thanks for sharing :)
@@bobblesandberries I had plötulopi and biches et bûches silk mohair in my stash so I am using it! But I am not particularly recommending that silk mohair to be honest
Lovely video! Thank you for taking the time to record and share your lovely knits. I knit an Eclair pullover by Laura Penrose in Filcolana Highland wool and it’s a lovely and soft yarn… but, in my case, it pilled significantly. I wonder if it depends on the colourway (mine is Dijon). I’ve only used the yarn once. I’d be interested to know how your pullover fares. In any case, the colours you chose for your Levi are gorgeous!! Bon tricot et surtout joyeux anniversaire !!
Thank you! That's so interesting about PHW. I'll see how this one is pilling. It'll be interesting to know if it's the yarn or the colours. I do find that different dyes affect the wool in different ways. I'll report back. Et merci beaucoup! ❤️
My sweater in Peruvian also pilled a lot. But it is so soft. I will not use it for a sweater again. Maybe it will be better with mohair, some have recommended that …
I’ve almost caught up from the beginning. I’m also a woolly wool knitter. I’m following your sock journey with interest as I try and convince myself to knit socks and no nylon for sure. We watch many of the same podcasts. I’m going to Edinburgh and Shetland in July. I’m looking forward to picking out one of your stitch markers from Ginger Twist. One request, can you leave the pictures of pattern up for longer. I like to refer to it while you are taking about it.
Of course! I’ll make sure to leave the pictures of patterns up for longer. :) I hope you’ll have a wonderful trip to Scotland! July is definitely a good time for it. ❤️
Your Rhue sweater is so wonderful, congratulations ! I will want one too, looking out for this pattern. You can also do the ribbing on the mittens with smaller needles. For the color work mittens you can use a bigger yarn with bigger needles and follow the pattern, it should work. Rauma 3 tråds Strikkegarn is a DK, it should work. Your Celeste sweater is also looking so good, it is inspiring. Here is a link for a tubular cast-on starting with a crochet cast-on : Tubular Cast On in the round using any standard CO (cable, LTCO, etc.) // Technique Tuesday by Roxanne Richardson : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ztjTJ4tCoM.html I think you will like this technique a lot. Isager mohair is really soft. I wish you a happy birthday, may you realize one of your deepest wishes this year.
Thank you so much Nicole! For your kind words, advice, and birthday wishes. ❤️ I'll definitely give the mittens a go then, with DK yarn. Fingers crossed!
