A bit too pricey for me at $600 plus shipping but absolutely worth every penny. I just watched some videos and have to say you guys nailed this concept. I lost my grandfather a long time ago when his truck fell off his jack stands and crushed him. I am scared every time I go underneath a car at work and at home. Seriously wish I could afford this.
Yup, and if you every have a major scare, or a serious event occur, the first thing you will probably do is go out and buy one...lol...That's how a lot of humans work though, they need to have something actually happen to be convinced. I hear ya on the price though, it is definitely steep. Of that there is no doubt.
@@cheezuscrust7730 lol gtfo here. I have jackstands and jacks that can lift semis with no problem and i always put a wheel under the car. This flimsy creeper aint gonna do shit
Nice features, but I want a motorized one that I can "drive" around under the car. I would think the drive system on a WalMart motorized shopping cart would be a start.
Now that lithium ion batteries are cheap you could even make a battery operated one, though I guess having a plug in option would be cheaper. It's a great idea.
People whining about price. If your life is worth only $600 then when the jack stand or jack only fails. Oh well. Also it isn't too tall because you have to work under there. People get car lifts and the car is 5-6 feet in the air. Better tell them.
With that logic people in car accidents driving anything less than high end vehicles with the latest safety features - Oh well 🤷🏻♂️ People doing their own auto maintenance & repairs to save $ and wind up hurt - Oh well 🤷🏻♂️ What an idiot
Seriously though. I have to laugh at the comments here and other places about this product. I suspect that said comments are mostly from miffed peopled that can't afford one, or don't want to pay the price even though they recognize the product has some merit. The safety aspects aside, just the basic creeper functionality of it alone is quality. Full metal construction, excellent wheels, good manoeuvrability, comfort, lights, locking wheels for enhanced stability, etc... Accidents leading to death under cars happens. Even to experienced people. It's a thing because things do happen. The price is steep for sure, but I that think I would perhaps at least seriously consider one. Firstly, it looks like it has good function. Second, yeah, I tend to think that my life could be worth at least 600 bucks or more ;-) The only potential mistake of buying one of these things is that it could lead to a false sense of security, leading to lapses in other safety measures. I think that it would be smart to add this as another layer to already good safety practices. If buying one of these things is gonna make one feel like super man then it might be a bad idea. My 2 cents.
STUPID INTRO , GUY ROLLING OVER 2'' DEEP SAND AND DRAINAGE GRATES IN A MECHANICS WORKSHOP - would be better to show on average mans rough concrete driveway
They were just trying to illustrate what it can cope with there ding dong. Pretty sure they know that you're not offroading with it day-to-day. Try using yer brain for once.
