She was singing. Just because this is a movie and the singer has to record the vocals doesn’t mean they are still not singing along to their own vocals. I can tell when Whitney wasn’t singing, right here, she is singing along with the track, possibly to still give the performance the emotion it deserves.

The fact that they’re not looking at each other only intensified the scene, and the character’s chemistry(as well as Kevin and Whitney’s) this scene makes me cry so hard🥺🥺😭😭 I know he was kinda “on the lookout” but it’s so much more than that.

It’s understandable to be upset that she’s not here anymore and she had such a great voice. But at the end of the day i wouldn’t call it a “waste” because she’s still winning awards. On top of that she still has records that haven’t been broken in over 20 years!

I think this movie was one of the very few times Whitney ever felt what it was like to be really loved and what real love should feel like. You can just see the adoration Kevin has for Whitney and how every fibre of his being loves her.

If you have a read up about this song she was so fantastic they had to remove the live audience because they wouldn’t stop cheering. when they go close to her they don’t show the audience. when they’re showing the audience they are using the body double on stage. They tried it a few times and they could not control the audience from cheering.
