I certainly wouldn't say every other video, but regardless, in this case it sadly DID need to be. We couldn't find a suitable location that would let us shoot a whole video (which is understandable).
My senior year in English class we had to do a project where we re-enacted scenes from literature that we had read. We read To Kill a Mockingbird. My friends decided that it would be great to do a scene in black face. The strange part was that my English teacher okayed the use of black face before they even shot the scene.
Great video, but the camera shaking was really distracting to me for whatever reason. They're in front of a green screen, right? The background doesn't seem to move as it should when the characters are shaking around.

Yeah it's definitely not every other video, that was a big overstatement. It just kind of felt like it since I've only been able to watch like once a month, so I watch everything at once. I definitely understand not being able to find a location. Again the time factor also makes it more acceptable. Really looking forward to what you guys do with the last season and beyond!

I just had an epiphany: the clerk has used up all of his 'gives a shit' resource on the *last* customer (note his response about next year's costume idea - he COULD head that off now, but...so mentally tired...), and this customer seems to be either equally unintentionally offensive or just outright deliberately offensive, and the idea of screwing him over with an exchange instead of a refund (best case, he won't have any need for 'the costume' again until next year) fails to induce any guilt. Sorry it took two years to develop this hypothesis.
I think you guys have begun to overuse the green screen. It seems like every other video is keyed when it doesn't need to be. Unfortunately they're not always composited well (which is acceptable considering they're weekly videos). I think it just hurts viewer perception.

Am I the only one thinking that even a straight up Nazi costume shouldn't be that much of an issue? And the black-face is unfortunate but if it was used to ironically imitate the black-face performers of back in the day... but I guess that might be the same problem as with the spy Nazi.
