and Steve Crofts was lead guitar/vocals in INTAMISSION BAND, from 1985 till he left to join the BOMBERS. I was bass/vocals. Christina and Steve have been my friends for many years and Steve taught me how to play bass in 1985. These days i'm retired, old and stiff with arthritis and cant sing for nuts LOL But wow what great memories and thank you Steve for sharing the music with me. I've put some old vids of INTAMISSION BAND on my youtube, ripped off old vhs tape but quite a buzz to see.
I'm an old granny now but I am proud to say that i was taught bass guitar by Steve Crofts. I hung up my bass a year ago due to obvious reasons, old age and stiff joints LOL
Thanks to Doc O'Toole who I believe is responsible for posting these Bombers clips! I miss this band so much - I am by the way married to Steve Crofts (guitarist) in this band - and who now unfortunately suffers from Huntington's Disease and can no longer play. Peter Heckenberg also now lives in the US but comes out for a yearly visit to Oz and often does some gigs while he's here.
Hey Christina, Glad you dropped by. Yes it is me who has this site and edited "The Bombers" footage :) I started this site out of respect for the boys and for the fans of "The Bombers" Give my best to Crofty ... Stay safe, Regards, Doc O'Toole.
One of favorite albums it is just choh full of gems just like this beast. I Did not know that Steve had Huntingtons disease, such a pity, he is such a talented guitarist, my thoughts go out to him & his family. Has anyonr got any clips of Black Cat Moan with the ever so wonderful Wayne Jury on vocals.
I am lucky enough to have A copy of the "Black Cat Moans" album as well as "The Bombers" album even have a CD single of "Wayne Jurys" somewhere in my collection of CD's
