The difficulty is that if everyteam gets special skills it becomes harder and harder to keep track of them. Universal special rules are generally better for all but the hardcore players. A game with 32 teams each with their own special rules and interactions becomes less fun to play because you won't know how your opponents rules work.

They're stunties, but do we're know that means they're going to get A primary like other stunties? Might it be G primary, A secondary as a switcheroony to go with the rest of the gnome vibe? Dodge would be much less of a no-brainer if that were the case.

I just don't see how you are going to protect two foxes, plus the ball carrier on your drive when you are under strength and designed to fight. I think it sucks but you have to carry on one.

or just only have 1 fox on the field as a hand off threat/tagger, but then often just score with the trickster

I think the tactic offensively is to balance with a fox on each side then bash. Multi-block on Treemen then foul. Try to get 2-3 opponents on off the pitch or stunned. Hold the ball in midfield and wait for your opportunity. Is any star player worth more than the meme joy of Rodney and Akorn??

Definitely a great comparison with the Flings. Gnomes definitely play a more normal game than a cash game. Love me Flings but I'm super excited for the Gnomes too!

I really don’t think the Gnome lineman will have agility on primary but instead of General and agility secondary. They are suppose to be the “fighty” stunty team, but if they can get Dodge super easy (3 on random or 6 on selected skill) then they kinda lost that fighty edge that makes them different from Halflings. I can see agility for Illusionist and the fox with illusionist having pass secondary, and strength for Beastmasters as primary and general as secondary

After watching the Monday night game, wrestle was too much of an issue as long as you have the muscle. This team punishes the opponent for not breaking armour with jump up.

TV bloat is the most overrated concept in BB. So many people act like adding 20k to your roster is gonna give some massive advantage. I've never concerned myself with "bloat" from skills. Extra rostered players who never see the pitch can be bloat. Even at, lets say, 80k what are you actually giving your opponent?

Hear me out: 2 trees, 2 foxes, 5 rerolls (if 60k), rest linemen. Your trees just bullet gnome/fight through, foxes wait in backfield or go apply assistants. Spamming gnomes increase the chance of 1 living long enough to get dodge, and you can buy other positionals later.
