If you want to get technical...Lesley didn't actually kill anyone. She was there of course. Of the seven Tate-LaBianca victims, Tex Watson killed 6 of them. Patricia Krenwinkel (corrected, originally said Adkins) killed Abigail Folger. I think Lesley is the one who stabbed Mrs. LaBianca after she was dead, still horrible and unthinkable and I can't fathom being so brainwashed as to take part in ritualistic murders. (The arrogant reply to this is incorrect. I fact checked later to make sure.)

@Smittycat1234 - Susan Atkins was the one who killed Sharon Tate and laughed in her face when Sharon begged her to save her baby. Child killer Ian Brady had his funeral last year in the UK. There was a legal battle on what to do with his corpse because he wished for his ashes to be scattered on the moors where he murdered the children (and where the remains of one still remain missing). It was decided that he was to be cremated without a ceremony and his ashes scattered at sea. The court decided this was the best way to dispose of Brady while respecting the victims' families. That one child left unfound on the moors was never given a proper funeral by his family (his mother died just a couple of years ago) so Brady did not deserve the funeral he wanted.

When my father passed, I had to get him cremated because I was 16 and his estate was broke. When my mother and I went to pick up his remains, we had to take a look at them ... in a cardboard box was a plastic bag and the moment we opened it to take a peek, the wind blew and into our faces was the supposed ashen version of what was once daddy-o. Just as he did when alive, it seems he got the final word ...

The end of this story reminds me of a story my dad told me: he was in the Air Force in a helicopter deteachment - some big-wig general wanted his ashes scattered in the ocean near the base, so his remains were taken up in the helicopter and ceremouniously dumped out the door. Of course, the vortex of wind and water created by the helicopter blades promtly coated the outside of the helicopter with the dust creating a mud that stuck like glue. In the end, he was rinsed down the drain as the crew hosed off the copter - I guess it all went to the ocean eventually anyway, right?

The man Freeman, gave all memorabilia to the Zak Baggans Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. He changed his last name to FREEMAN because he wanted no ties to Manson hence when Manson died and he got rid of his belongings he became a “free” “man” and changed his name to Freeman because he didn’t have to live with the Stigma of being related to Manson at least that is the story the museum told during the tour.

[nods] i saw the episode where Mr. Baggans helped him get help from a local pastor to "rid himself of his connections to the past." he was wearing a shirt that "grandpa chuck" had given him one christmas. after he went through the ceremony and got baptised, the guy literally tore the shirt from his body and claimed he was free. i think he gave the shredded shirt to Mr. Baggans to dispose of, if i recall correctly. it was a strange episode. admittedly not one of Mr. Baggans strangest ones but still... ~that boy does some really weeeird sh*t on his shows. 0.o;~

I thought this would happen. The "Family" had several children at the time they were arrested and according to Vincent Bugliosi, the prosecutor and author of "Helter Skelter," they had been taken by the state and adopted out. When I heard Manson died, I figured "relatives" and weird people would come out of the woodwork. Then I didn't hear anymore. Thanks for doing this video and informing us. Love your stuff ! And because of you, I'm drawing up a DNR document and will, naming my best friend. I trust him to do what I want (before and) after I'm dead. Being from Porterville, the town where he was cremated, word about Manson being in town spread fast. I don't know how true it is, but people said that the family tried to find a place to hold the service, but most turned them down. They went as far as Iowa looking for a home that would host them. Eventually someone recommend Porterville who finally offered to host the service and cremation. If this is true, or even not, is it the case that funeral homes might avoid high profile corpses, like Manson, to avoid publicity or being affiliated with the story of that person's life?

I am Not sure how to contact you, however, I am almost at my summit and will, not so distant future, will be a time that my second daughter will be in charge of my body. She knows 2 of 2 options. I want to be buried in a sea grass type coffin, or cremation in my chosen shroud, and untouched by the "middle man". We both are very interested in making more "consigrated" ground that saves nature just by the burial of a loved one. It just feels good to stop the growth of subdivisions . So would you email me the places that can be available for burial that would stop ever growing houses etc. I live in Idaho. Boise, to be exact. I look forward to your response. No hurry, I think, I am 56 and have time to organize my leaving of this place. Hence why I am contacting you. Thank You! Ctf.nina.gmail.com Nina Michelle Miller

@@ninamichelle62 There seems to be comparatively more interest in green burials lately and more people are offering "natural" burials where your body is not filled with formaldehyde, etc. you are basically wrapped in burlap or something similar and buried without a coffin, its done differently in many palaces and as you can imagine depending on where you live the health code determines the details they can offer but it sounds like something that may interest you. good luck on your journey hope you find what'swell enough of my rant right for you. Death shoul dbe talked about w loved ones it saves so much confusion and even potential guilt and second-guessing later on and come on, we all die, its not like its a surprise no matter how much some dont like ot discuss it.. the other extreme being obsessed w all things death lol hey there's a balance there somewhere. I hitnk its interesting and amazing how when the blood stops pumping this person or animal with dreams goals personality etc ceases to think and talk and be.. i can see why in past ages they thought the blood is life after watching someone wounded in battle bled out and get progressively weaker then die... crazy, huh? the universe holds more mysteries than we will ever be able to see in our lifetime let alone solve but look at the building blocks of knowledge from the past we are so arrogant as humans tot hink we can solve anything when you consider how little we know about even our own ocean yet its wonderful to study and with each study the truly wise know it only leads to more and biger questions and it exposes how little we truly know.. which is fine, its wonderful tht in human nature wiht its many flaws that there is this explorer and challenger imagine htose people way back in time braving hte seas hearing baout giant squids dead most likely if they were up in the shallower waters and the story gets more and more crazy and exaggerated with each drunken boastful telling until youre sure you will see sea monsters and sail off hte edge of hte world.. even if everyhting goes well youd be likely to die of scurvy in some un- sung about way instead of battle lol as if dyin gin battle is any more glamourus, truly... and these expeditions took YEARS years of no talking to your family at all because you couldnt just pick up a phone and call or skype etc...the world is more connected and in some ways seems smaller now but imagine the bravery or desperation i suppose if htye had to find new routes more food etc. and now so many of us are comparatively soooo lazy lol, its such a shame. here and there... well enough of my rant i went off on a huge long tangent there lol my point was just to check out natural burials and if you find a local mortuary/ funeral home that offers it, maybe write down all your questions and meet with them with your family? good luck to you and your daughter and family.

I've got five topic suggestions: 1) body farms 2) the Soap Lady 3) sky burials 4) the New Orleans flood that filled the streets with coffins and corpses and is the reason they don't permit underground burials anymore (I'm unsure if this is the "Great Flood" of 1927 or an earlier one, but a delve into the coffins-popping-up-like-corks legend and current necropolis practices might be cool) 5) finding/using/decay of DNA for old crimes, historical/anthropological research

@Kamila Kocourková = My god you're ignorant! There are several bodies buried around the Spahn Ranch according to ex family members that Charlie killed in order to "show them how" to kill. But after he got out of jail that last time he did not want to go back so he brainwashed and threatened the others to do the killings for him. Charlie and Tex had a homosexual affair and Charlie forced Tex's loyalty by telling him he would send letters to his parents and friends telling them about him and Tex. That's why Tex was so "loyal"...and why he wrangled the females and made sure the murders were carried out. Tex was terrified of his family and friends finding out he'd had sex on more than one occasion with another man, Charlie. But you do research on the bodies in the desert and why the state won't allow people to look for them. Listen to the hours and hours of interviews from Charlie and the family. If you believe that he wasn't a serial killer, you're a damned fool.
