The female tuskan was NOT using the same weapon Boba had. Her's is a generally pointed gaffi. Boba had the classic flanged gaffi from the original films and action figures. :)

If i’m not mistake the first person he fought after trying to run away has the staff Boba uses in the Mandalorian. Maybe he ends up beating them or they gift it to him when he leaves.

Honestly when the guards saved them against the assassins I was so hyped. Usually we see them as slow and fat and they always die but they actually were amazing.

Boba lore... The eye hole was small and just the view through the visor because the helmet likely lost power. When the helmet is operating boba can see a full 360 degrees in a heads up display. Allowing him to legit see behind himself.

@@Sid271 exactly... though I think Iron Man only had a widened view... Boba legit has 360. In the EU books someone else puts Boba's helmet on and it totally fucks with their senses because they didnt train to see an entire 360 degrees while fighting. Someone would come up from behind them but theyd see it as clearly as the person being directly infront of them. Super trippy to imagine.

Maybe after years of doing jobs for Jabba and seeing how he ruled, he wanted to make a change. We did see one of his first acts as freeing the Twi'lek slave.

The creature Boba killed looks like a creature created by Ray Harryhausen from his old movies like "Mighty Joe Young" (1949), "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" (1958), "Jason and the Argonauts" (1963) which featured a sword fight with seven Skeleton Warriors, and "Clash of the Titans" (1981). Just fantastic.

The thing that’s full of liquid Boba is in is a Bacta Tank. It’s similar to the one Luke was in Empire Strikes Back. The bacta helps to heal wounds, probably in this case Boba’s acid burns.

The memory snippets take place years before The Mandalorian and Boba didn't have the Tusken gaffi stick (or the knowledge how to use it like he did in The Mandalorian) until after his time with the Tusken tribe.

Holy shit, Robert Rodriguez directed!? How did I miss that! Damn.. now I have to get Disney plus. I'm not even a Star Wars fan but this is really something I want to see and Rodriguez is one of my favorite directors. Couldn't have been a more perfect match for the story.

Very satisfying start to the series and a good indication of things to come. My biggest take aways: - I appreciated how both storylines show Boba struggling somewhat but ultimately show he’s on the path to showing he lives up to his reputation - Despite some nitpicks with the costumes (wish they had used the child and female Tusken costumes from Episode II) I’m appreciating how we’re seeing more Tusken Raiders in the Disney Plus shows. - While I’m waiting on big name Star Wars characters I do appreciate seeing Max Reebo again and am happy he landed on his feet with a new musical gig - Those four legged droids in the town are actual real life robots which I found so cool that Star Wars is trying to incorporate into the show. - I’m wondering if Fennec has a point about the Gamorrean Guards as they we’re noticeably slow in getting to Boba and Fennec during the ambush -

The Book Of Boba Fett; Chapter One Breakdown:- This one-off show highlights what happened to Boba Fett after he fell into that Sarlacc Pitt in “Return Of The Jedi”. Expecting a sprinkling of guest cameos from other Star Wars characters such as Din Djarin @ The Mandalorian, Omega from The Bad Batch, Ahsoka Tano, etc. In The Mandalorian; Season 2, we saw Boba fully dressed like a Tusken Raider. Even his choice of weapon is a Gaderffii / Gaffi Stick. I believe this serial will showcase how he rises through their ranks via flashbacks whilst in the Bacta Tank. As well as solidifying his position as a self-appointed Crime Lord of Tatooine - replacing Jabba The Hut. Also, his sidekick: Fennec Shand seems more attuned to Tatooine’s underworld culture. Boba himself has undergone a morality shift - more benevolent and merciful after emerging from that Sarlacc Pitt. My prediction is that this show shall introduce at least one completely brand new main character to the Star Wars Universe. Fingers Crossed!

That sand monster looked like a next generation version of one of Ray Harryhausen’s creations in old movies. I think it was a tribute to the guy. IF you don’t know who I am talking about, check out the documentary on Tubi; Special Effects Titan.

I am so glad that we finally got to see how he escaped from the pit not long enough during the 5 years but at least the answer that we wanted all those years later seeing the flashbacks from AOTC was also cool when he was sleeping in the poleynisian spa😂😁

Me when I originally saw the monster at the end: What in the four-armed Godzilla bullsh*t is this? Still I like that there are new creatures introduced. It's a large galaxy and its good that we're not always seeing what we already know. Still plenty of species they could introduce

He probably want to rule "here" on Tattooine is because he's probably been there for like 5-7 years, from Return of the Jedi until episode 5 of Mandolorian. We don't know how long he spent with the sand people but it stands to reason he's been on Tattooine a very long time and feels comfortable there.

A solid 8/10 for the episode....The only complaints I have are that, the CG on Lizard Goro 😄😄😄 is AWFUL - It seemed like, it had been plucked straight from a Japanese kaiju movie of the 50s. Also, the episode slowed down a bit at the end. Whereas in The Mandalorian, the pacing is perfect in ALMOST all the episodes. I think their concept is to make it a lot more grittier than The Mandalorian. Basically SPACE GODFATHER!!!!🙂 🙂 🙂

I enjoyed it but didn't love it. I expected an intro episode and that's what we got. I really struggled to see Boba Fett as Boba Fett if that makes any sense. Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Hopefully future episodes will flush out the character and introduce us to some memorable new characters.
