My mother raised me evangelical and at the beginning of the film I too was confused but once I really focused in I enjoyed it for what it is, a great movie. It's written and put together very well. I suggest you check it but also understand if it's seen as disrespectful to some that have seen it.

Absolute masterpiece! I was sceptic at first, but it takes real creativity to write a script from such angles that it fits all paradigms, WITHOUT offending anyone in the same breath... If you sit yourself down allowing the plot to play out, you'll be genuinely surprised. Jeymes is an incredible addition to the cinematic world

This was a beautifully shot movie set in biblical times with a mostly black cast. lighting on black skin at night was beautifully done and I love how Clarence's love interest was a beautiful dark-skinned woman! the music score was wonderful too!

This movie is a masterpiece! Great acting and is twist after twist. At first I was confused about the religious angle but by the end just enjoyed it for the great film it is. It covers most genres, it tripped me out 🤣

Saw it last night at a screening. Its spectacular. Its not for everyone. Thats life. Not everything is for everyone. And just because you dont like it or think it looks bad, doesnt mean it is. Anywho, it's absurd in the best ways. I dont want to say too much and spoil and whatnot. Point is, watch this film.

Excelente película. Te lleva de la risa al llanto como montaña rusa. Muchos mensajes ocultos y muchos mensajes más claros que el agua. Te hace reflexionar. Los católicos o cristianos que reniegan de esta película no le entendieron nada. Al final es una apología a la religión o la bondad. Por si fuera poco está excelentemente filmada y dirigida, excelente fotografía y excelentes actuaciones.

I haven't seen him in other movies, but I will work on it. He is also in a tv show on apple tv called "Changeling" which I've been watching. It surprised me that me & Lakeith are born very close together. He is 3 weeks younger than me.
