As you enter this mysterious realm, don't forget: "wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." Please pray for me as I am a recovering alcoholic and I've been sober for 102 days and would love for my life to remain in his word and be obedient! Amen❤
I have struggled with obsessions , the most help I've recieved has come from a still small voice that represents what I know comes from the desire to be with God. Stay strong .
Jesus give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I won’t give up but Lord I’m so discouraged. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to give me strength.
May God give you the strength to keep walking in faith❤ may He supply the spiritual, and physical needs of you and your children.. God bless you, and hang in there sister in Christ❤
11:20 --- seeing vs doing / looking at a mirror and forgetting versus looking at his law and remembering.... brings to mind Ps 1: "blessed is the man.... ...his delight is in the Law of YHVH, and on His law he meditates day and night"
I've never thought of James as difficult. Seems one of the easiest. Since peter said pauls writing were hard to understand, I've always used the simpler books like James to help me understand Paul because as peter says, those who misinterpret Paul do it to their own peril.
I second this statement... Paul is the greater prize and that's why the Holy Spirit warned us in 2 Peter 3:14-17 to be careful, or we twist the rest of the Scriptures (Law and Prophets). ❤
Paul describes being justified directly after conversion...James describes HOW to walk as a believer while being sanctified....sanctification is necessary to inherit the kingdom of God ...and how ironic that you're quoting out of Peter ...cause Peter nails it ...he say "without HOLINESS, no one will enter the kingdom of God ...sanctification is the process that qualifies one to be HOLY.....God bless you
@@alphaandomega-m5n I don't understand what I said that was incorrect, Beloved. It sounds like you agree yet made a statement to agree with the intention to disagree? You lost me, man. For the record, I agree with you! The premise was the difficulty level, and that's why I quoted Peter to explain Paul's DIFFICULTY, yet it wasn't about Peter but James! Phew! That was tough!
@@brianmohika7180 I never disagreed with you. I agree with you. I was elaborating on your comment. Just taking it a bit further...if the masses knew that James and Paul were talking to two different groups of people, the confusion would end....Paul discusses justification, James describes sanctification. None of us were sanctified at conversion....it's a very long process only after being justified. I threw Peter in there, to back up what James talks about. Peter goes further than James, and not only tells us that action is necessary for a true saving faith, but tells us what kind of action ...that action? Holiness of course...I totally agree with ya!!!
Always loved the book of James. To me it always seemed to be a straightforward book of instructions. What’s the problem? Get on with it in faith, and live it out. God bless.
Thank you for theses words I am a believer and for so long not knowing how I try to pray and feel that I fall short but yet I can talk with my lord and savior all day as thoe he is there with me it’s easier to talk with Jesus for me than it is to pray I shouldn’t be here now but I am it’s not a easy road it’s the one I chose
I don't understand how there can be so much difficulty chapter two, Right away I think of Matt 5:16 Our works should show our faith, and May our work shine brightly so that the folks around us glorify our Father..
Yes book of James is a spiritual book and the key to understanding James is the fact that Jesus is inside everyone What you have done unto the least of these you did it to me. That's what Jesus says in Matthew. Which is why we can not treat other people poorly even if they are sinners. And we can treat others better. Because we are all equal in Christ. All souls will be saved. None will be lost.
Matt verse says should, not must. May our works..it’s what he and God both desire from us. James 2 is all about encouraging the brethren, to live out one’s faith. To be full, mature and to complete one’s ffaith.Don’t waste it, let it shine before man so they can see god thru you. Faaith that is unalived is faithh but faiith that is dormant, idle, not beneficial nor profitable to anyone.
Thank you so very much for this , I followed in my Bible, and read out loud some verses. We must stay strong , stay true to God's teachings, I know from my past it is not always easy, especially ,at times when I will curse.
My favorite book in ALL THE WORD!! It contains all of the spiritual lessons that one must learn and bring forth in order to draw closer to Yah and be like his only begotten Son in order to due His will in all righteousness to His glory. I contend that if one reads this book once a day for a year...they WILL be transformed. It's 15 to 30 minutes a day...WHY NOT!?!?
Blessing to those who have a voice of grateful admiring for I struggle to speak the words to help because I do not give glory enough to innerstand the admiration of grace is not from a highest thinking but the lowest of empathy that where we began does not dictate who the father is no matter the dependence of my lifestyle I pray my voice is of wisdom and steadfast grace to be a lion in the darkness I will not do work with my hands and feet and allow my voice of his praise to go unheard and vice versa, amen❤
Amen ❤ Thanks Love the video. ❤ the book of James. Faith without Works is dead. Jesus talked the talk. But walked the Great walk of Faith and Works. The Greatest expression of Love.
Thank you and may Yah continue to Bless you. In south african schools we learned from the arrival of van riebeek and his wars with the british and the Bantus for the Land
And he said to me, "You are not a better judge than Yahawah, or wiser than the Most High! Let many perish who are now living, rather than that the Law of Yahawah which is set before them be disregarded! For Yah strictly commanded those who came into the world, when they came, what they should do to live, and what they should observe to avoid punishment. Nevertheless they were not obedient, and spoke against Him; they devised for themselves vain thoughts, and proposed to themselves wicked frauds; they even declared that the Most High does not exist, and they ignored His ways! They scorned His Law, and denied His covenants; they have been unfaithful to His statutes, and have not performed His works." - 4 EZRA 7:19-24
Wow! How is it you don't know who James was speaking of? He was speaking of the house of Israel that was carried off by the Assyrians back in 721 BC. God divorced the northern tribes of Israel because of their abominations they they continued to commit. Why do you think Jesus told the woman that He did not come except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel which made it posible for gentiles to be grafted into Israel? Jesus did not die to deliver us from Gods law, He died because we all broke His law. Read genesis thru revelation and you will see Gods laws were around from the beginning. Abraham kept Gods laws and statutes and he was around long before the Israelites at Mt. Sinai. Jesus himself kept Gods laws perfectly and we are told to walk as Jesus walked. Pauls problems with the laws was the same as Jesus had, with man made laws that brought Gods laws to no affect.
Relax. It's the book of James. I dont know why you are talking like you're mad at something. Is that how you listen and talk to your pastor? You always point out if he says something wrong that does not affect the true doctrine? Come on. We are watching this video to learn and also to test if it is an exegesis of the book.
I want to be save for god . I am learning I want to do better for myself and I want to forgive all my sins that I have done and all the mistakes I have done in my life and I want to take away all my hatred my anger I don't want to be an awful person I do not want to I want to be get closer to God and listen to his word and I want to follow his commandment
I am embarrassed to say I didn't know there was a book of James in the bible.. Arghhhhhh ! Thank you for your obedience and faithfulness in sharing and revealing truths in the words of God. 🌷
(12) The disciples said to Jesus: We know that you will depart from us; who is it who will be great over us? Jesus said to them: Wherever you have come, you will go to James the Just, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being.
Basically the book of James is your vow to Jesus, as a bride is to her partner in marriage. If you are married, and you say you love your wife, but you go cheat once a week, your love is dead for your wife, it is not genuine because your actions go contrary to your words. Likewise, if you love and say Jesus is your way, but then change absolutely nothing of your life, your words are empty. Therefore, salvation is through acceptance of Jesus, and then your works will reflect that relationship as proof. You must first be, in order to then do
Good video… with a little bit of levity I notice a bit of James T Kirk gestures in there at one point… just joshing with you on that however… good video and explanation. ❤
I would infer that the ability to love thy neighbor as thyself can only be rendered when one knows JESUS CHRIST AND IS KNOWN BY HIM. Natural man is incapable of loving another as he/she would want to be loved.🌸😊
Therefore confess your sins to one another, so that you will be healed. The study word for sins does not say your flesh will heal, or does it say your soul will heal, but it is a general term for healing. What do you think? Can sickness be brought on by sin and can confessing your sin bring physical healing?
" . . . the heartfelt prayer of a righteous man will avail much' : said another way, the energy laiden prayer . . . the Greek uses the word "energo" instead of heartfelt. This (energo) is the root word for energy. If Energy =MC2, then our prayer has mass; not to say, words have mass.
In the books end, it says that love, or charity, covers a multitude of sin by bringing back a lost brother. Really what does this mean? Does this mean you can be forgiven a multitude of sin by returning a lost brother to Christ?
Please carefully read Mark 3:21 again....There is no mention of any names other that "Friends".... If you will reference Matthew 13:33 You will find that these men were familiar with his family members. The Reference that you may be referring to is MK. 3:31. Whis is a total different incident and they had not come to confine him ,It reads like the came to see him... When he was informed of their request to this, Christ response was to indicate that All people were part of his Family.. Reference NKJV.
Jacob is the English translation of the Hebrew name Yaakov. Yes he is known to be the half brother of Jesus. Born of Mary son of Joseph. One great teacher I listen to is Dr. Baruch Korman. Blessings in Messiah
I believe the book of James speaks primarily to our Jewish friends. That means it is good for Christian’s instruction but primarily focuses on Jews, whether they are Christian or not! The book begins …of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad….
You don’t see the scattered abroad means the only reunification is through Christ making us all who call on Him (through the Holy Spirit )Children of God (the Father) through the Blood of the Son ( Jesus our brother not only in Spirit but in Blood He sacrificed for us as a payment for the very first shedding of Blood touched t and cursed the earth from BROTHERS (Cain and Abel) every brother since has waged “Holy War” “ Jihad Literally meaning brotherly war Ishmael and Isaac and Esau and Jacob. That’s why Paul said to the Romans a Jew is one inwardly that circumcision is a matter of the heart by the Spirit!! No such thing as Gentiles. No such thing as infidels. Jesus work is complete brother! Jesus said it’s not what goes into a man that defiles Him but what comes out! that He didn’t come to break the Law but to Fulfill it!!
The gospel writer general Saul apostle Paul Josephus says that upon the occasion of his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, after his victorious campaign in Kadesh against General Titus and 70,000 roman army , General Simon Arshakuni Bar Gi'ora, - that is Christ King Mono Basileus Izates II , the Son of Man the master Sicarii Sicarius Zealot, - was proclaimed " King of the Jews " by a rejoicing and enthusiastic jewish people. Many passages in the Gospels, likewise, indicate the same thing. Indeed, according to the account in John, he did not deny the charge when cross-examined by the Praelatus in Rome at his military trial, that he coveted the crown. Notwithstanding the fact that in the Gospels his kingdom is called the " Kingdom of Heaven " and the " Kingdom of God," it is very certain the kingdom which Simon Bar Gi'ora, the Son of Man, had in view possessed positive geo- graphical boundaries. Josephus, whose political apostasy made him hate the very name of the Liberator, Simon Bar Gi'ora, describes in jewish Wars IV, 9, an military expedition of that great leader into Idumea. He says the Son of Man Christ went up into the mountains to pray the military assistance of the settlements scattered along the Wilderness of Kadesh. To those who 40,000 wicked jewish men joined him he offered many advantages : " liberty to those in slavery and rewards to those who were free " - the men condemned to labors and those heavily laden with tax debts. Josephus says the populace were obedient to Bar Gi'ora, the Son of Man, " as their king." John 6: 15 says the people sought to make him their king. What Josephus cannot conceal in his hostile history of this expedition is Gi'ora's intense energy, which some modern psychologists hold to be the very essence of genius. Bar Gi'ora, the Son of Man, was aflame with a burning zeal manifesting itself in a divine rage against the enemies of his people. Fury was considered by the ancients a divine gift, and this impetuous patriotism, this piety for his people - patriotism and piety in that theocracy were synonymous - could be considered only a holy rage or wrath, a " Roah Kadesh." Simon was the very simoon of the desert, the " Wind " or " military Fury of Kadesh " as well as the " Roah Kadesh " or " Holy Wrath," which passed into Greek, in the hands of men made docile by defeat and beaten into hopeless humility towards earthly ambitions, as " Pneuma Hagios " or the " Holy Spirit."

🤣 He's incorrect right from the start. He says, "James was a common name in the ancient world." Not one single person in the ancient world was named “James”! James is a distinctly English name and England did not exist until almost a millennium later, in 927. There were, however, many people in ancient Israel named “Ya'akov.” 🤣 Yes, I'm nitpicking. Don't pay any attention to me.
I wish you would talk normal when trying to teach this. I can't follow people that are over dramatic and use words that I've never heard before. It would make more sense and people like me that really want to understand more could learn more about the Bible. The Bible is already hard to understand sometimes, but this makes worse for me.
SETTING THE RECORED STRAIGHT! James is not the correct name of this book! The Greek name of the book, However, Is NOT "Demetrios" Which translates as "James" but "lacobos," Which translates as "Jacob" or " Ya'akov" in Hebrew! Just saying...😮 Don't take my word research it for yourself! My people perish for the lack of knowledge, Says the LORD
You should be listen to James 3. And not speak until you witness.. Double minded is the one who still keep old with new..That´s is testing of the faith..Faith or Works.. And Works James talking about have nothing to do with law and commandments..But Faith..Because the faith we have is not ours..So when you ask,and God started to show you that all religion taught you is a lie,it takes courage to go against the earthly wind..You want example? What if you hear that Lake of Fire is actually baptism in Spirit/water and fire/Word? Would you be able to say Ill accept,or `ìts devil attacking me``? Because religion portrait baal who is gonna burn people to be your god. Think about it!
Okay? If I can write a book that describes to you something like a car without using the word car. Would you not conclude that I must be describing a car? If I talk of an engine and axels and a transmission and a frame/body it fits in. Would you not suppose I’m speaking of a car even though I never mentioned a car? Likewise we can conclude that God is triune and the rapture is real based on the evidence provided by the scripture. Read your bible.
@@themanhimself594 thank you. You’re very kind. All the reformers believed Mary was a perpetual virgin. I think you’re even smart enough to know what that means.
Matthew 12:46, 48-49 ESV [46] While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. [48] But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” [49] And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!
Jesus was Gods only Son, but He was not Marys only son. She had sons and daughters after Jesus was born. The bible says Joseph did not touch Mary until after her first born son was born. They did not have C-section back in those days so once Jesus split her womb she was no longer a virgin. She was as human as you or I. The bible never says she was a perpetual virgin. The bible says there is only 1 mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ.
John 7:2-5 NASB2020 [2] Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was near. [3] So His brothers said to Him, “Move on from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing. [4] For no one does anything in secret when he himself is striving to be known publicly. If You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.” [5] For not even His brothers believed in Him.
The Bible also says that are works is not what will save us , give us etereral life . But, by the personal telationship that we have with are Heavenly Father. This is the purpose of the Bible and the exact reason why God made it for us to have. It is the living word of God. It tells us everything we need to know of who God is, what he has done for us. It tells us what is God's will and how we must live to be blessed and covered by his grace. It will bring you closer to God and God closer to you. You will learn who he is at a personnal level and he know you. On the day Jesus returns, will you be taken up or will God walk away saying as he he turns his back towards you saying I never know you. If you know God you will know everything that needs to be done to have eternal life.
The Bible says confess our Sins directly to God. Only to God that was the purpose of Jesus Xruxitiction. Do not confess to man for he is of flesh. Only God can forgive us of our sins. I don't believe that we are supposed to confess our sins. But, confess that we are sinners and want to be closure to God and sin no more.
