The wait is over! The Boom Beach HQ 26 update introduces a new defensive building like no other: the Boom Beach Bunker. This innovative structure combines offensive troops and statues to protect your base, giving it a unique blend of defense and offense.

Description:
The Boom Beach HQ 26 update brings new Boom Beach buildings, upgrades, and features. An additional Boom Beach Wood Storage, three more Boom Beach mines, and a Boom Beach shock mine can be built. Boom Beach defenses such as Sniper Towers, Machine Guns, and Boom Beach Rocket Launchers can be upgraded, enhancing Boom Beach defenses.
Upgrading the Boom Beach Armory unlocks upgrades for Boom Beach troops and abilities, enhancing Boom Beach offensive gameplay. The new Boom Beach Protopart Conversion feature lets players convert Boom Beach proto parts into gems, providing an alternative upgrade route.
The Boom Beach Bunker is a new Boom Beach defensive building, allowing players to garrison Boom Beach troops, which then attack Boom Beach invaders with normal stats. The Boom Beach Bunker can hold four types of Boom Beach troops, adding depth to Boom Beach strategy. However, a Boom Beach bug may affect troops in the bunker, so watch out!
Costs play a crucial role in managing Boom Beach defenses. Boom Beach troop upkeep is automatically deducted from the island's gold production, affecting which troops can be garrisoned. Base gold production, influenced by green statues and bonuses, impacts the ability to deploy costlier Boom Beach troops.
The Boom Beach Bunker brings new layers to Boom Beach strategy, allowing players to mix and match troops for optimal defense. Range boosts give troops like Riflemen, Zookas, and Cryoneers an edge. However, choose troops wisely, as some may not perform as effectively.

I put a grenadier in one of my bunkers for a few days and it was surprisingly good. It would often throw over the meatshield and kill the attacker's bombardiers, which helped me win a few defences.

A little mix of cryo / laser ranger / bombardier / riflemen can be really good : the rifleman groop the troops so both cryo and laser ranger pierce through + it allows the bombardier to splash damage

Great vid🔥 I’m all cryo w/ mine @ max and it’s fun to watch ppl fizzle as players haven’t seen it or planned for it. Even after they lose and come back, it’s still has surprising affect as it’s another distraction. Adding to the psychological aspect of my defenses, I suppose 🤨. Maybe it’s least discussed & best ability is that it’s also killing the taunt/warrior atk which was impossible before -when done correctly.

definitely doesn't take decades. rush your HQ, upgrade fast XP/HR buildings and use the free diamonds to speed up progress.

Nope, bunker troops always refresh as long as you have the maintenance gold production. I should have covered 🥲

Update, I logged on and there was the update so I managed to get two updates done on the HQ and got the bunkers out with troops in now I'm going through and seeing what all I can upgrade on the base I found out you also get a armory and troops upgrade to as well artillery no shock lunches upgrade or storage but a lot of other good things @@zmot

An interesting addition to the game but the gold cost seems a bit high. My bases are typically around 650-700vp and only get attacked once per day. Not sure the new defence will be effective enough to justify the upkeep but looking forward to seeing if they win any extra diamonds. Why didn't you move those mines rather than using art on every attack? 😅

The cost per hour is ridiculous. But what I am finding most perplexing is that many 26HQ bases on my map have 12defensive statues, all with 80plus days of boost each. How?

bombardiers have always had splash damage but the tiny range of it means it very rarely matters. against clumped troops it will be great though

This def is broken. I have passive income of 27720 per hour (no villages thats another ~23k). Ive put 1 rif into 1 bunker. After ~6hours I got from residences 6x169gold so around 1k instead of ~150k. Sorry I wrote this here. maybe you will see it and report to devs.

@@zmot Found some reports on BB discord about it so I'm not only one. Made one also but after few hours when I was checking back, mine was gone. Hard to prove something (making screen shot) over time when game says it works fine and calculate deduction properly.

Looks like it was fixed in last patch. Now game automatically collect gold from residences when you put some troops into bunkers but it's just small inconvenience for correct calculations.
