In my country, Spain, we have an informal term for the boomers: "generación langosta" or "locust generation", referencing the locust plague that ate the crops in Egypt, leaving nothing for the future generations. Who once said he pulled himself out of a swamp by his bootstraps. Other stuff includes riding a cannon ball in the air to spot enemy encampments and owning a living mantle.
The original quote I saw was literally about how you can't "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps", and that we all need someone else to help us. Although "bootstrapping" is really useful terminology for computer stuff, so that's nice.

I’ve had some nasty interactions with these grown children, (I’m a stocker at a grocery store who worked several years on night shift, I have great a dislike for people) A lot of people divert back to being children and ask “why” a lot and don’t like how I don’t know things and patently don’t care. I don’t know what’s on sale, I don’t know when more of the thing is coming in. I don’t care, if they look down on me (and especially boomers seem to). Women are the worst, cause they’ve become Karens, and the funniest thing to do is to just run away from them.

3:59 I'm always hesitant to make the TV argument. After all, we are all watching this on a phone or computer screen. The book Amusing Ourselves to Death made me realize TV & the Internet are more similar than different.
I would say how we consume is fundamentally different though. Boomers have high trust in tv talking heads so what newsman at 6, 12, and 9 said is basically law to them. They had decades of no real other sources of information and while telling us remember cartoons and other tv shows aren't real they take news shows as gospel. It's been over a half century of pavlonian training to screens. Most newer generations take the don't believe everything you read/see on a screen as truth and will look at other sources, into the story that's being presented to sus out fact from fiction. You can sway newer generations by presenting alternate evidence, a boomer just gets angry that your challenging his pavlonian response of tv=truth
No need to have hostile intentions with Boomers. We just need to hope that live prolonging technology doesn't come about before they all drop in the next few decades. (Obviously wishing oblivion broadly on an entire generation is morally wrong, but many of the issues pointed out in this video have backing to them)

Stability is the most important quality in a government. Boomers help make the government disfunctional, and thus unable to pass bad laws like the patriot act. Therefore, a government with boomers is a stable one, that doesn't pass crazy new laws, and that's good for business and ultimately, all of us.
