And as I said they only have the (Walnut) color.
They are one of my favorite pair of boots. I can't say I would put that sole on mine, but to each their own. I can't believe they discontinued this boot. It took me weeks on Poshmart and Ebay to track a pair down in my size. And then I had to dye them. But worth the effort! Great boots, and a great job resoling them. Can I send my pair to you for a new welt and midsole when they need new soles? How much?
I think that's the first time I've seen the camo sole on a pair of boots and thought it looked good. The model has indeed been re-released in Walnut. That's Thorogood's kind of dark burgundy/ brown color
The new version of this boot is a bit different. The color is different from which you stated and they also aren’t using the rivets to hold the different pieces of leather together anymore. Still a nice looking boot but idk if the durability is still there. At first glance they look more of a casual boot as opposed to a work boot now. I might buy a pair to find out.
Nice Job Thorogood Boots in the last 20 years has so much man made stuff plastic welts and mid sole I have sold all my pairs 6 total I work in heavy Rental as a mechanic and I hate throwing's boots away in 1.5 even when I take care of them brush clean condition the construction is so mass produced for cost that I will never own a pair of them
Hey man! I was considering your business since I love your personality (and I've learned a lot of new shoe words in Spanish), how much do you charge for a basic goodyear welted resole, with new welts vs without welts?
I have noticed this on a couple other projects but it seems like the welt sticks out quite a bit from the boot. Is there a reason for that or just the way you do them?
