And gay is different to a transgender woman which are perceived as woman too as backed by scientist. Transgender woman perceived themselves as woman in the way they think, the way they act, the way they live whereas gays do not. Gays are categorized as people who are sexually attracted to men. While transgenders are people who feel they are living in a wrong body. The bottomline of what I'm saying, don't compare gays and transgenders because they are different from each other.

It's so sad seeing that Gays have this kind of mindset. Gays are part of the LGBTQIA+, we should have known better compare to hets. Just because we are able to indulge at some point the treatment that we want, doesn't mean that we have to leave the interest of the people in community. REX I think..... last year the candidate for the miss universe coming from Spain is a transgender so I guess it is ok now to join the miss universe as long as your trans and not gay.

There was no rule that a transgender women is not allowed to represent a country. One of the reason why Ms. Spain was allowed to participate. Even if it has no written rules or guidlines that limits only to natural born women, the important is we have to respect the platform. The creation of miss universe was not only for fame and glamour, back in the day it serves as a way to have a voice in a society dominated by men. I know it was a struggle for someone who identify their self as a woman living in a man's body. But we have to be supportive to these natural born women to establish more voice and reach the equality that we all wish for. Let us not take this kind of opportunity to those young girls who aspires to be. It is morally fitting that we leave the competition solely for natural born women hence, it was created for them.

It was decided, encouraged, and celebrated by the MU organization. Miss Universe isn't about the facade of a women anymore, it is about showcasing womenhood in all forms. It is about being a"woman", having the gender of a "woman".

After all, MU isn't no longer a pageant for just women, it's a pageant for womanhood. And since the MU organization considers and recognized these transwomen as women, who embodies womanhood, that the MU is looking for, it's just justified and fair to include them. Natural born women will not be dehado, because, again, it's a pageant for all sorts of women, and trans women needs representation for the type of women they are.

You are very smart! For how many years been man ruling the world, this century is the opportunity to over power women's right when men let us (as a woman) to do what they do. I mean, I love gay people I have relatives and friends, but thinking about for like how many years na nag rurule ang mga lalaki back in 19th century or earlier mapapaisip ka na why would some gay have a mindset to overtake the pageant when in fact this is the chance for every women to express their logic. I’m pretty sure there’s a massive, MASSIVE difference between transgender people entering beauty contest and athletes taking drugs, so that’s out. Next transgender aren’t saying at all that it’s all about them, they just want to participate in something that allows them to compete. Btw some Beauty contestants do surgery, I was going to say most but people might get angry. If a natural born women loses to a transgender women then it’s obvious she doesn’t deserve to win its a beauty contest don’t blame it on transgender women that you lost just because your weren’t as pretty as you thought you were. and if you say yeah but transgender women get surgery, yeah they do get surgery but a transitioning means changing your genitalia not your face. They still have the same face as before.
