Strange, high school Chemistry and biology plus my own health issues and study was enough for me to understand these easily. I suppose having a personal interest in physiology helps more than one would think. I might have to consider a health science careers, as this seemed elementary to me. I have lupus and Ra so I'm probably more versed in how medicine works as I am regularly on anti inflammatories (colchicine, aspirin and Nurofen), immunosuppressives (dexamethasone, methotrexate or hydroxychloroquine) and a host of other medications. I always take a day or two to look into the methods of action before I take something, and it has helped more than I could have imagined. Reading all these comments about med students and graduates struggling to understand has opened my mind up to further study for the first time..

I must say, very impressionable lighting on you for this one. Keeping my eye out on your other channel if you ever talk about your setup. 🤓

I wonder if there has been any similar case of someone drinking too much root beer. Root beer tastes like sweetened pain relief methyl salicylate oil ("boxer oil" as sold here) to me.

Another interesting and informative video. I’m familiar with this stuff as “Amish Origins”and “Unkers Therapeutic Rub”. All the same ingredients.

I don’t like methyl salicylate’s smell, that overly minty esk temperature confusion grosses me out.

I had a pituitary tumor in 2015, which destroyed part of my pituitary gland, so I'm overly familiar with corticosteroids. I'm on prednisone for life. Interestingly enough, I also saw the video of the worker who ate too much licorice. I've wondered if there is a therapeutic level of glycyrrhiza that could be used in a SHTF scenario where my medication wouldn't be available.

I applied a pain relief cream to my full body because I have very dry skin and was out of lotion, washed it off after it started burning in some regions and it continued to smart for hours. That was essential oil based thankfully

When I was young, I put Bengay on my calf muscles and proceeded to take a shower. I rubbed it everywhere, by accident. Screw the medical jargon, this was terrible enough. Make sure your affected area is dry before showering.
