OK SO ABOUT THE X-RAY VISION AND THE VENTS: I was going to complain that the writers were getting lazy, but then I googled if ventilation ducts were made of Zinc and apparently they do, "Galvanized mild steel is the standard and most common material used in fabricating ductwork because the zinc coating of this metal prevents rusting and avoids cost of painting" I just wish that was a bit more clear instead of making it seem like Homelander just lost his X-ray vision.

@JB-wy8fc nah they only referenced that homelander can't see through zinc in season 1 and it only came up once. Plus it's not common knowledge that air ducts are coated in zinc. Don't be a jerk. A lot of people don't know that and had the same question.

They actually did release the full musical number online so everyone could see what it should have been like before things got cut. And yes good ear that is the voice of Andrew Rannells. Shoshanna Bean was the lead female voice. The full song is also available to stream online as well 😅

The tool lying on the table was an Orbitoclast used for performing a Lobotomy (which is usually accompanied by a hammer). They vary in shape, from sharp like an ice pick, to blunter variants as seen on screen.

@@2908Jarek Why would she care about that, though? Also I'm pretty sure octopus don't bleed red. The scene just involved the Deep to show how effective the lobotomy was. I think she either lobotomizes herself to "get high" by not thinking as much, and she heals from it, or she did it because she set all this bad stuff in motion to bring out the worst of Homelander and now he can't use her intelligence to fix anything.

I think Butcher might actually not be imagining things but has a power to talk to the dead. We have no idea what that compound V can do to people other then give them powers for 24 hrs and will kill if you take too much. The thing on Sages table was (probably) a Lobotomy Spike. Something that was used around the 1940-1950 as some type of brain surgery to help with mental health problems and the spike was basically used to cut nerves in the brain by poking it in right next to the eye. My guess is that Sage uses this in order to get dumb for relaxation. So basically to get high on dumbness.

I moused over the screen when that Vought game was playing and apparently it was a real game that was made and there are concurrent daily players that play it, lol. Also it was modeled after Mortal Kombat, which btw, Injustice and Mortal Kombat are by the same company which is why they're so similar! Edit: Okay I don't think it's an actual game but Amazon Prime mentioned something about it having daily players, I think it was just adding to the lore though!
