Saying they made prismatic in the delay time after the lukewarm reception is kinda a bad take, because the exotic fusion rifle with original collectors edition pre order was definitely made in mind to work with prismatic. That and its super unrealistic to think they can just change aspects to work with other elements in just a few months like that, it definitely takes a lot more to develop then that. I love you guys and the dream team content D2/outside of D2 is always funny, I don't want to sound like some blind D2 stan but wanted to point out that was a bad way to derail the current hype over the new subclass

I love D2 and glad the Midnight Coup comes back today. Could it be better? Of course, but I still love it and have fun playing with my brothers

While destiny has its faults I don’t believe comparing helldivers numbers to into the light numbers is a fair comparison.

To talk about movies a bit. Alex Garland’s other films haven’t been… too actiony either? I haven’t seen Men but i also don’t intend to… but ex machina & annihilation just have their moments of it. Moving on from that, if Movie Theaters are your happy place, have you (or anyone) considered going to a film festival? There very much might be a local film society or a festival you could go to. Maybe see some fun movies you’d never see elsewhere

0% chance prismatic got developed entirely in the 3 month delay. its straight up almost not physically possible from a development standpoint. this has been in the works for a while but i will say they probably werent planning to drop it until the episodes.

Spoiler free Fallout opinion: I watched all 8 episodes of Fallout and after seeing them I appreciate Halo so much less now. It's very evident that Fallout's creators respect the game and want to be as lore accurate as possible. There are only a few things that (to me) seem to diverge a bit from the games and they are minor details. I like Halo, but I have to remember that I am watching what is essentially a reboot. But Fallout is everything I could have ever wanted it to be, and the ending is quite good and teases what I am hoping to be an even better second season.

no way they came up with prismatic in three months. Forgetting all of the gameplay stuff, you really think they went through the whole storyboarding process, added Prismatic into it, brought in all the VAs for all the languages to record new lines, changed the missions, etc. in those three months. Now I could eat crow and it’ll be really half baked, but it just doesn’t logically make much sense.

Honestly felt the same as Rob, Destiny reveal didn't seem that cool. It's all stuff we can already do just at the same time? I don't get why everyone was getting so excited, it's not really new.

Rob's energy really made me feel bad for being excited for prismatic and Final Shape. I know that was not his intention, but man, was that not what I needed. The hate towards Destiny (especially when it is very intentional and meant to piss people off) is just so tiring. Obviously, the game has problems, but I've gone 10 Yeats dealing with the over hate of Destiny. So I think every time Destiny gets brought up on here, I'm going to skip that section. All of yall are entitled to your own opinion, but I'm just exhausted.

I want to preface by saying I genuinely love the dream team and every member on it but here's my hot take: I honestly don't mind fruit or rhab shitting on destiny , cause i can at least understand where they're coming from, but when blue shits on destiny he always follows by praising ffxiv, and so far, every bad comment he made about destiny 2 can be mirrored to ffxiv. and its not even only I that think that, most of the people in the group im playing with in ffxiv say the same thing. which is why I genuinely think whenever he says that the game may just not be great, I know he just fell out of love with it and found a new niche that he enjoys. that being said, every time he talks about these 2 games... I just skip it honestly

37:03 "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad". Bungie has unfortunately accepted that they are fine with releasing half baked content (not even half baked, it's just raw flour sometimes) rather than polishing the game and making it actually good or engaging. They accepted this back in Shadowkeep but I think Lightfall just broke the camel's back. You would think this would mean good things for Final Shape because now they have to try harder than ever to get players to be interested but everything they've shown gameplay wise hasn't really done it for me. I also agree with Rob on the topic of the "new" subclass. I just don't find it all that compelling. Especially after hearing more about how it actually works. I don't have enough trust in Bungie to make it work properly, without it being overtuned to all hell so basically PvP is dead on arrival because of silly combos, without it being super restricted, without it breaking something and having certain comboa disabled, etc. Like, obviously bugs are part of every single game and new releases, but we've seen stuff like this happen for like half a decade now. I'm just tired of it I guess. I don't even know what the point I was trying to make was. This just ended up being a rant lol.

I don’t really get Blue’s point of destiny’s endgame’s problem being chasing cool guns because isn’t that most looters? D2 has hella problems with its endgame, but its not that lol. Its that its too easy and crafting makes getting good guns so quick that there’s no in game incentive to run that content anymore. But I wouldn’t say its boring, just that it’s too quick. All the harder, and imo, more fun stuff have few rewards, but I find them fun and its a game, so I play them. Calling the challenges in the game boring is also pretty weird considering all the hardcore players only stay with the game to do these challenges even though the game has 0 rewards for it (lowmanning raids for example). I know a smaller percentage do these things, but the community is actually growing pretty strongly recently, so people do enjoy it. I feel like for someone who says the game is fundamentally bad with it, it feels like he hasn’t really actually played the game and its endgame much recently to know its actual issues, which is fair. But its weird to make it seem like a nuanced take. The biggest issue with D2 is not even its endgame but the quality and the delivery of the basic content. Endgame is pretty solid with the guns and content they drop as we get something new every 3 months and can do all challenges/get the good guns and then you can move on to whatever next raid/dungeon comes out.

First off, Rob thinks CS GO is the pinnacle of gaming, so take any gaming opinions he has with a grain of salt. I like the boys, but why even ask or care what rob has to say about destiny at this point? It's clear he's too jaded to offer an actual opinion. Say what you want about destiny, i'll be the first to admit its issues. That being said, its clear hes drinking the hateraid at this point, and its clearly not good for his mental health to talk about it. How is that a healthy normal response? For someone who doesn't care about destiny anymore, there seems to be a lot of bitterness there. Blue literally called him out for his intentionally dishonest take about that we can essentially experience multi-classing now by having teammates, and I don't think blue went hard enough at him. IDK, it seems anytime the game is brought up, Rob resorts to like an angry child who doesn't want to play the selected recess game that day and is now throwing a hissy. Rob realistically hasn't played this game in years outside of day 1 dream team raids, but yet he still seems to harbor an intense dislike for a game he doesn't even play? Blue couldn't even carry him and fruit past halfway in legend onslaught, maybe robs upset that he no longer has enough skill for destiny? Also not to be rude, but without destiny the dream team literally doesn't exist. IDK man it's getting to a point where Rob is so much of a child when it comes to his attitude whenever Destiny comes up that maybe he should leave the room when they talk about it. It reminds me too much of my little brother throwing a tantrum. Blues take on destiny is correct tho.

I have a conspiracy theory about d2. Before I begin I was on the hater boat with rhav just having a great time playing other games and leaving destiny franchise behind, but then it occurred to me what if prismatic wasn't meant to be a new subclass but a new feature they just didn't have ready? Here is what I believe the three new supers where meant for a new subclass but they didn't have visual and sound effects or a cohesive theme ready and with the resources they had and a limited time framemaking them the existing subclasses was best they could do. Then when the trailer wasn't hype enough they decided to finish the prismatic feature but fearing a new feature wasn't enough they made it a subclass. I think either bungie will region prismatic into being a subclass that is still developing. To me personally I'm on the boat of im seeing this till the end but after I'm out unless d3 is a godsend
