#theboys #boysdiabolical #superheroes #comics There's a fine line between genius and insanity, and it happens to be f*cking DIABOLICAL. The Boys Presents: Diabolical
Funnily enough, he did the exact same thing in his first appearance in the live action show. Except there it didn't explode, it got so hot that it welded itself to the guy's hand.
@Darren Villanueva pretty sure it just would have discharged, "cooked off" a bullet, then cycle and keep discharging until the action stopped working which would be pretty quick.
@@janlukegabriel Homelander's crazy in the show, tries acting good but is a psycho murderer with a god complex. Here, he was starting out for the first time and was actually, GENUINELY trying to help people but, as you can see, he screwed up.
@@5uper_sleepythat’s how he originally was in the comics. He didn’t start being evil until black noir black mailed him and convinced him that he was blacking out and doing heinous acts
Maybe because Black Noir was the ONLY one that KNEW about his mistake & was the ONLY one that could tell anyone about it lmao I swear what are these comments😂
@@KarlPHorse I didn't even watch the series man, just saying, that was pretty gruesome. Edit: I watched the show, yeah she was so fuckin annoying with the "fascist" thing
More like 4. Crushing someone's lungs, broke another's nose, blowing up a gun which destroys one guy's hand and kills another, and then ripped off a girl's jaw. Not to mention going in a bloody rage and killing all but one other person in the room. And all this was BEFORE he exploded the whole place killing the innocent people there and the reporters
In context, that girl was a terrorist and the other terrorists were holding people hostage. They really shouldn’t be giving homelander any lessons on morality
That's the kind of destruction you get when you just gain power without ever working for it for he is showing he doesn't know how to control or know his limits.
Nah, some people just shouldn't have super strength. Anyone who wants it, shouldn't have it. Because 99.9999% of the time they'll use it selfishly or use it to hurt others. We see this with Superman. He didn't want his powers. He wanted to be normal. But he used them for good. This is also why Batman struggles when he's given powers. He either becomes less terrifying, or more. No in between
@@thealrighty3534 It is. But when he no longer needs to worry about being hurt, he isn't as careful. His awareness is lower he doesn't strategize nearly as well. He also can't get rid of his anger, since he has a lot of that
@@lokiprepper nah, it's more like you're some edgelord wannabe middle schooler coming in with "I agree with that analysis." (Don't forget the period after literally 5 words, cringe boy). Omg, "agree" "analysis" you're sooo smart. Thank the Lord and the heavens above that LokiPrepper here, the edgelord himself, has given his divine verdict on this random RU-vid comment while actually contributing NOTHING. Omg, you random, dumb animal, you "agree" with his "analysis"? All the girls are swooning, congrats mi'lord. Oh wait, you're like 11 and trying to look cool in a RU-vid comment section by giving a worthless "I concur" from an even more worthless little mongrel. Anyone else "agree with my analysis" here? Good, great, "F.O" you fucking toddler
@@Jamesw587Honestly, I didn't feel bad for that girl who got her jaw ripped off. She had me screaming at the TV. Telling her to shut the f*** up She just reminded me of one of them protesters Like vegans and mainly The LGBT.
@@deznutes6689 all of diabolicals episodes are kinda cannon except for the one that tells you "we ripped this story straight out of the comics" Also black noir / homelander act like the shows version not the comic version. Homelander wasn't suppose to go evil like that, black noir slowly turns him evil.
Same person who played him in the live-action(Antony Starr), which is pretty amazing since acting and voice-acting usually don't go hand in hand from what I've seen!
@CrimsonHybrid love Anthony Starr, he also didnt work out but just put on a muscle like how his character just got it and didnt work for shit, he seems great and down to earth, but he plays a great egotistical narcissist
As far as I can see, he's way worse than that. He's a Man, that's basically a god that had a rotten childhood that nobody cared about him or loved him! And when you have abilities like this, that would create a complete psychopath!
Imagine a story that doesn't gloss over the fact that all these "superheroes" you love would unavoidably be leaving a trail of corpses and cripples behind them just through their boneheaded heroics... That's "The Boys" in a nutshell.
@@AlknixHonestly you and the original commenter are right. The boys not only shows “superheroes” without proper training, but also shows what happens when they lack that restraint, or accountability, the corpses that pile up, coming from the lack of consequences. It's a murder fest waiting to happen.
@@TheClumsyXenoit really is alot simpler than that. Don't hand over power and responsibility to others and then complain when they, another human, don't use it the way you want.
The live action is cool and all but the animation does a better job of seamlessly displaying powers and power levels. They wouldn't be able to do this fight scene in live action due to budget constraints but here they could have Homelander display the full extent of his abilities.
@@jaminonthisbeet3650 spoiler: black noir is clone of homelander in the comic, as contingency when homelander is out of control, and killed homelander at the end.
It still wouldn't explode like that. If anything it would've just gone off and he would've laser eyed the dude through the open chamber while it was cycling, but 500°f probably wouldn't cut through the upper that fast
Yeah, overheating a gun just causes the rounds to cook off. (Go off on their own.) The only way your getting an exploding gun is if the rounds in a magazine go off inside the mag well. But this was a sawed off double barrel no it would have just fired and thats it.
@@johnmclain250 Even then the rounds wouldn't go off properly. They would most likely "blow up" and cause the gun to fly apart. I can imagine a much better scene with a chunk of the barrel embedded in the hostages jaw while the guy holding tbe gun is left with a molten dust cover lodged in his jaw. You know as opposed to it acting like a looney toon dynamite stick.
I like to think that Black Noir is just some sort of Batman/Snakeyes character but in reality he’s the reason why Homelander turns into a villain so he’s technically the real villain in the show. At least in the comics, not sure about the show
@@tusharbhati2091 it turns out he’s a clone of Homelander and no one knew. He would occasionally dress up as Homelander and do evil things while pretending to be him, and it made the real Homelander turn evil because he thought he was insane because he saw photos of what black noir did but had no memory of him doing it. During an unrelated incident Black Noir got thrown out of a plane and everyone thought he was dead but he survived the impact with no injuries. This made all the heroes and Butch’s crew very suspicious of Black Noir. He’s basically Homelander but all of his powers focuses entirely on super strength. Because when he fought Homelander he literally tore his jaw off with one punch.
Because guns don’t actually detonate like goddamn hand grenades and the writer of this episode probably never handled a gun in their life? Worst case scenario, he might cause an accidental discharge, but not a full-on explosion.
@@aouyiu In the beginning of the episode he was shown to suffering from extreme PTSD when it came to his upbringing in that lab. He'd be having flashbacks back to that time At a certain point he was saying "You're all being too loud, I need to think." And whenever he killed all those other innocent people, it was genuinely a dissociation for him. This was just the worst mental breakdown you could see tbh
I think he was more surprised, because he assumed that black noir was gonna save the hostage and use her testimony against him. But instead he just killed her right away showing that he was on his side
@@mattl6492 Los terroristas amenazaron la vida de personas que poco o nada tenían que ver con las acciones de la empresa; si estas dispuesto a usar la violencia para lograr tus objetivos que no te extrañe que te respondan con violencia.
@@deathbysodomy4124 basically, the terrorists made themselves the victims and tried to claim they weren’t gonna hurt the hostages even though they were armed, (I’m adding this on to push Hinox’s point) and at one point were going to execute one
Look homelander was really trying to help them, but they stared cursing him. He was really sad that one hostage died, Because homelander was new. In season 1 he saved a kid with same kind of laser heating
True, Homelander here I actually think is genuinely trying to save lives and be a hero. The hostage takers couldn't just surrender after they saw he was not going to stop. They clearly could see he doesn't understand how to use his powers to stop them, and he wasn't backing down. They didn't think let's just surround and put our guns down.
Yeah because people didn't see him for what he was why is that so complicated you that blind you really believe someone that narcissistic has any real good intentions from the start 🤣 the only way to see someone true colors is when they need to hold themselves accountable for what they do homelander never does that he is almost worse than Batman but homelander knows he's a bad guy he won't admit it

Slick... Back.. hair.... It reminds me of a certain someone. Who yearns for power. And would do anything for.. more power . Even if it meant killing his own twin brother
See he was made and indoctrinated and tortured his entire existence to look and be loved as a superhero.... And the worst part vought does this to certain degrees to every single superhero
they were holding hostages in nuclear power plant with automatic weapons, yet they used the excuse "we werent gonna hurt nobody" and called the guy stopping them a "fascist". ive never sympathized with homelander up until now
This was before he became a villian. This was his first time handling a crime. After this he was interviewed by the pres, he blamed himself sepf and wanted to tell the truth. But VOT wanted him to lie, he was a hero at first but VOT turned him into a villian
I wouldnt say hero. He falls more along innocent child here. He doesnt know how to control his emotions and strength. He isnt very well educated and doesnt understand consequences or the significance of his actions. Vought essentially just chastises him without providing opportunity for learning so instead of growing from this point and becoming a better person, homelander reinforces his faults and grows bitter and uncaring.
I beg to differ, he's aware of the decisions he makes and therefore chose to follow orders and become the villain he is. With free will and his power, we all know that he always had the choice and chose the lesser path. Everyone has a choice and we make them every day, it constitutes the direction of our lives. He could have chosen to be a hero and expose vaught but he didn't make the right choice and we see a more gruesome and morally weaker version of homelander.
@@ethanerdman1137while he is at fault he isn't ENTIRELY to blame for this scenario. When humans are given orders from higher ups we would like to think that the individual will always choose to disobey if the order is morally wrong. And yet we have studies and books showing that even good individuals may choose to follow through unfortunately. In this case it seems like self preservation, panic, and having a soulless corporation as a parental figure pushed him down this path.
@@WaterDrinker011 who cares? Get away from the thing thats about to explode, worry about mr laser eyes after that. Or throw the gun towards homelander, eyes track movement instinctively so his laser would stay on the gun for the split second it takes to explode. No by all means tho tell me why standing there and trying to explain physics to him was the best choice
Because he's willing to kill innocents people who were hostages because they witnessed him fucking up? Just for the sake of protecting his image of protector of the nation? You can hardly do more fascist than that
This episode did the impossible and made me feel bad for Homelander. He just wanted to be a hero becuase thats what Vought tortured him into wanting to become. Then he gets sexually harrased by that one lady I forgot the name of then he tries saving people from literal terrorists and what he though was superhero stuff ends up killing innocent people and the literal terrorists yell at him and play the victim card. He was doomed to from the begining
Guess these idiots shouldn't have brought live ammo if they didn't plan on hurting anyone. I don't know if this scene is supposed to make you sympathetic to terrorists, but it just looks like shit writing to me.

@@sinarquista9895no it’s people like you that fall victim to fascism without understanding what a fascist movement is. homelander is clearly a narcissist fascist and it’s because of his base. just like another blonde haired idiot who wears the flag like a cape that i bet you voted for in 2020
