Honestly I’m absolutely enthralled with Antony Starr. His portrayal as The Homelander is absolutely amazing and airtight. He truly embodies that character and I have to legitimately separate reality from fiction because I only ever see him as The HM. I Love it.
@@kingnate101 me too. The sheer amount of interviews they've done is crazy, so something's gonna get lost in the algorithm. I've watched most of them tho lol
@@SaraStar7373 The phrase “drinking the Kool-Aid” refers to followership at its worse. It was coined after a delusional, pseudo-guru named Jim Jones led his cult, the Peoples Temple, to mass suicide. Over 900 people, including 304 children, killed themselves by drinking from a vat of grape-flavored drink laced with cyanide.
@@SaraStar7373 oh boy your not ready for this so a church cult was visited by a politician and a reporter well when they went to leave a bunch of people wanted to go with them and before they could leave the cult leader gunned them down the reporter People and the politician woth his family well the cult leader knew authorities were coming so he then made a huge poisoned batch of cool aid and gave it to some 800 people force feeding the kids usually all of them died and the phrase don't drink the cool aid was born worse case scenario for belief
@@SaraStar7373 there was a communist cult in the 70s that after assassinating a congressman who was trying to help defectors leaving the cult held a meeting and voted to stage a mass suicide as a symbol of protest killing 900 including around 300 children. On previous occasions the leader faked threats and held mock votes and when these mock votes resulted in mass suicide he would pass the drink out telling people it was poisoned as a test of their loyalty and obedience to the cause. The drink of choice was Kool-Aid and another brand called Flavor-Aid but Kool-Aid just stuck in the media. The term now is basically used to describe people who buy into idiotic or potentially dangerous groups or ideas like cults, conspiracy theories or even pyramid schemes.
chace saying "halloween's right around the corner, jack" at 16:26 was so funny to me but a lot of jack/chace interactions in this panel were funny to me
I know in reality Antony probably wears the hats because he has to get his hair dyed for the role, but I’m still waiting for him to take it off and just be homelander. Also Chase is so much like the Stiffler character.
