It was executed really well.

Main difference is there was no set up for that scene in Endgame whereas in The Boys, it's entirely plausible if not more likely that the three women fighting side by side wasn't intentional but they saw that it was a good empowerment moment, and *then* leaned into it. After all, the only supes that could've possibly fought against Stormfront in this scene were all women. The set up for the scene would've worked regardless of the characters' sex or their gender, basically. But in Endgame, the scene would be even more out of place than it already is if any male characters were included.

We would all die of alchohol poisoning...

While I thought the scene made it clear that she had super strength, by now I'd totally forgotten those scenes aswell :P Tbh I wish the show did a better job explaining whether or not all supes have some strength.. All the main cast seem to.. but not to the same level... And then a lot of the side supes don't appear to have super strength.. It's pretty important to know the tnesion in certain scenes.

@Aohn Damara That much is obvious.. The problem is that we have no way of knowing the relative strength of each supe... So When two characters are about to face off we don't know who should be scared of who... Obviously we can assume homelander is the strongest.. But we don't now much else, and I feel like that makes a lot of the supe on supe action scenes fall a little flat. For example.. let's say The Deep eventually faces off against A train or Maeve.. We have no idea how strong any of them are relative to eachother... The character probably do.. but we wouldnt know if The Deep would need some clever plan to beat them.

Why would you need security, when the people living in the tower are literal superheros, who are bulletproof. The only reason is maybe to stop espionage, but that's what translucent was for.

I think it makes since to be honest. How bad would it look to the public if they needed security guards etc. while trying to offer it as a service to others.

Butcher said in an earlier episode that Vought has horrible security so the show is consistent

He also did a far smaller beam on those tits. Compare it to the cutting terrorists up laser from season 1. There is definitely a gradual there. And Stormfront wasn't completely unhurt by his medium power laser.

Holy shit, you are correct, technically Starlight's powers are dependent of electricity and Stormfront appears to generate electricity out of nothing so yeah starlight should've drained her lighting.

@@TonyMetal My assumption is that she can only pull from a fixed current source and generally a low amount. Way I see it is she picks a source, then sets her resistance and adds herself in parallel to get a small amount going. Lightning needs an electrical short to connect so the current would theoretically approach infinity because she'd need a MASSIVE resistance to counteract lightnings high voltage, ultimately asymptoting at a still extremely high value due to the air only being able to carry so much electricity. Plus lighting is a quick burst of a massive amount of energy, and I believe Star light doesn't automatically suck in electricity, she'd have to manually time the few milliseconds the current is flowing (far as I know, there's no evidence Starlight's reflexes are improved by that much if at all). That means that she doesn't have her resistance value picked out when the lightning hits her, which gets us into that unlimited current scenario. If Stormfront Palpatines her and just keeps blasting then that solves the timing issue, but not the energy overload. It's like how Homelander has super strength but buried by a train (kek) crashing into him

It can be because of the chip of the supes (homelander and stormfront), after the revelation scene of the stormfront identity maeve was showed angry and it's obvious that she followed her after that. It's not randomly LMAO.

So im guessing that the kids eye beam was big enough to knock her away and burn off the extremities since they would be less durable. That kind of force could tear the mom's throat, since she was choking her. Butcher was right there too and had blackened knuckles from the blast. That's my thoughts anyway.

I agree! I like that the boys survived, but I hated how they did it! Starlight ad the female surviving sure, but the boys should have been dead. And Maeve was Duex Ex Machine 3 times! She saved starlight, then the boys, then Ryan and the butcher! That's way too much, the only way it makes any sense is if they are setting her up to die next season (and they want her to be a more important character before hand).

@@LTDragoonIII it's the drawback of the boys not having V in the TV series. Some say that it adds suspence, but in reality it just makes some scenes look dumb. In the comics the V the boys have doesn't put them on the level of the heavyweights like Stormfront, but it allows them to take a punch or two from them without dyng on the spot.

I'll say though, the fact that it's only 12$ in Amazon is quite a steal, especially considering the fact that the gameplay can be entertaining and the graphics for a 2016 game still look decent.

Gotta be honest.. Fenchie is the member of the boys I care about the most.. Mother's milk doesn't get enough screen time and his motivation is a lil 1 dimensional. Hughie is pretty cool but he's too much of a nice guy and Butcher is just trying to hard to be the "tough cool guy" imo.. Frenche is a good mix of badass and wanting to do the right thing.
