Aww I love Eric Kripke's dad shoes lol. He's an awesome show runner and all of the creative liberty he's taken with the show where he diverts from the comics has worked out so well. I think his version of The Boys is actually better than the original source material.
Omg Karl's accent is so understandable here. I'm new fan (bc of jensen haha) so yesterday I watched the show for the 1st time & lord I couldn't understand a word Butcher was saying 😂 I actually saw his interviews before watching the show & thought he would sound the same on the show too but no😄 so his accent shocked me 😂
Because DC didn't get the chance courtesy to stupid studio & people knee jerk reactions. This series stays true to its narrative away from real world socio political jargon but narrates like it runs parallel to ours like the use of social media as a hype medium to promote themselves. Unlike the other franchises that somehow shove in sjw narratives so blatantly without a dime of reason to drive it than just diVersity pandering.
@@changsangma1915 Pretty sure it's not that deep and it doesn't sound like he left DC out intentionally to begin with. All he said was that they've managed to impact the culture despite being a transgressive superhero property and not an actual superhero franchise, like Marvel.
@@nissan_skyline ....not sure why you needed to jab your argument twice instead of tagging it in one complete argument, that too after a month. & the debate here was really about DC being Not mentioned, why and for what.... that was the point of discussion. What your after thoughts are regarding this is clearly your issue, and not being clear of your intent to begin with. Get a better excuse to argue next time.
@@changsangma1915 Are you really getting on my ass about replying to your comment a month after you posted it when you literally did the same thing to the OP lmao. I commented twice because one reply was meant for you and the other was directed at the OP. You obviously weren't tagged in that comment, so why do you even care. Also, there was no debate. DC wasn't mentioned because the guy never even listed off several franchises like the OP implied. He just named one (Marvel) to make a point about the cultural impact 'The Boys' has made despite being a transgressive superhero show, yet you seem to think DC was intentionally left out for some reason that doesn't even make sense. Oh, and your reading comprehension sucks ass if you interpreted my comments as an attempt to argue with you since I never even had an issue to address. All I did was offer some clarification behind what the interviewer said since you're clearly struggling with following the conversation.
@@eugenetaniora, yes! I like him as McCoy but his Dredd was absolutely incredible. His mannerisms and the fact that true to source material, he keeps helmet on the entire time other than a brief moment, unlike to Stallone who spent more time without his helmet, and I like Stallone, just not as Dredd. Would love to see Urban portray Dredd again but it’ll never happen again unfortunately. I know they talked about doing another and had plans but the studio made a mistake in not signing off on another Karl Urban Dredd sequel.
@@PsyQoBoy That's just the way he is. He used to be like that at 'SPN' cons. It takes awhile for him to open up. Also, he's trying not to step on anyone's toes.
authentic actors. Talk shows are usually super polished with suspiciously charismatic guests. i.e. the script is working. Why would we expect them to be super smooth in conversations. Its nice to see a bit of awkwardness. Its real.
