Colby is a superb actor, the way Ashley goes thru the full range of emotions on this show without uttering a word and we can all tell what she's thinking is a testament to how elite she really is, she has given life to this character who could have been an extra.

Loved the first 3 episodes so far, Anthony Starr Is taking on the role of Homelander so much even more so than Seasons 1 and 2.

my favorite part of the episode is when homelander looks at the camera and says, "It's Homin' Time!" and the rest of The Seven go, "Yes, let's start Homin'!"

Colby really caught my attention with her work on the Jessica Jones series on Netflix.

This show is one of the best out.

There was also this with the Homelander/Starlight story line in episode 3: Homelander is trying to overpower her because he's threatened that not only was someone made his co-captain, but that someone was a woman; first by trying to make her sing a sexy version of Happy Birthday for his tv special (which she rightfully recognizes as demeaning and successfully rejects), so then he pulls the (to him and so many other men) ultimate power move: inventing a relationship between them. It's him saying "you're nothing without me, without a man." And Starlight kissing him is her going "Well, you've backed me into this corner, but I'm not going to let you take my power away." It remains to be seen how and when it'll all backfire and for whom, but for women who watch the show, I know I was squirming throughout that entire sequence because I've been in that position where a man tries to undermine my power and authority through, essentially, sex, and trying to show that I wasn't there to be in a position of power or authority, I was there to look pretty and be a romance object. (This was also echoed in the flashback to Soldier Boy and Grace Mallory in this episode where he tells her she "should smile more," and when she verbally puts him in his place, he gets nasty, telling her "You know, if you were a little nicer, maybe you'd find a man, instead of out here playing Captain Lesbo." while his face trembles, a dead giveaway that his ego is stung and he's lashing back out (a scene played to perfection by Jensen Ackles, btw.) That's part of the genius of this show: for all that there are horrific spectacles of blood, guts and gore, some of the creepiest moments don't involve any of that at all, it's the maneuvering and jockeying for power and exactly what lengths people will go to for that power. (Like with Homelander forcing The Deep to eat Timothy.)

The way the writers have written the current Trump supporter base into the Homelander character is AMAZING. You could take Homelander's speeches, put them up on stage spoken by Trump, and they would sound just like his current speeches do. Completely insane. Awesome show.

I hate the way the actress tries to spin starlight doing the unforgivable. Oh no yeah she went ham making out with homelander just to show she can meet him half way like bro. That scene honestly was shit. I rather see people be blown to bits than watch huey get done dirty. Like she went OD kissing homelander. Nah. That little Arthur fist don’t do it for me. That scene was actual dog shit.
