I think Antony Starr should at the very least, be nominated for an Emmy.. Such a good actor, carrying on the whole show as main antagonist.. Every expression of his character speaks.. Really talented actor.

The kid who plays Ryan is a TALENT. The subtlety of how he goes into that incredibly unnerving smile was just incredible.

3 seasons done and I'm still beyond amazed by Anthony Starr's Homelander portrayal.

Jensen Ackles killed it. He was the best part of season 3 and his character was super badass!! Hopefully he returns in S4

I like how Kripke put it at the end. Ryan choosing Homelander isn't the kid's failing, it's Butcher's.

Soldier Boy was the only one that kept up his part of the deal. I am glad that he didn't die because now he can show up in future possible storylines when it's need. When it comes to Homelander, no matter how much he loves Ryan I have zero sympathy for him.

Honestly every actor on this show does their job really well

The acting in this season was fantastic across the board, everyone killed it. I think Antony Starr was the clear stand out though, the range he showed this season is incredible. The mirror scene alone is just amazing.

SB is my fav character on the show rn, the way jensen delivers his lines in such a giga chad way 😂 is just soo good

I find it interesting that despite Soldier Boy's speech about being better than his father, he instantly says the exact words that he hated so much when he meets Homelander as his father.

Im so happy that he confirmed he will bring back noir.

Soldier Boy is the highlight of the season. Jensen Ackles gave a top notch performance. They should bring back SB in future too.

People were so disappointed that Black Noir never got to fight Soldier Boy, but the whole point of that arc was Erving gathering his courage to confront soldier boy, and homelander even though they both scare the crap out of him, he still got himself together like the hero he always wanted to be.

Dude... the cartoon characters were such a brilliant touch. Because they managed to take a character that seemed heartless and souless ... and made me feel for him after that. That literally almost made me tear up when he was dying. and I never wouldve thought that earlier on in the show.

Kimoko's fight scenes this season have been some of the best in the show. She looked really skilled at kicking ass, like a genuine martial artist.

I love getting 'Clark Kent' Antony Star for these interviews.

All I know is Soldier Boy is going to have serious trust issues if they ever bring him back

You could argue that Ryan saved Butcher, because he makes Homelander leave instead of fighting Butcher.

I love this series. The script and acting are not cheap. Good character development. PLEASE MAKE 12 EPISODES FOR SEASON 4. 🙏

Starlights powerup was cool, but seemed SOOOO weak for how long it took, it knocked SB like 3 meters away and he got a little shaken up, then got right back to fight like cmon. Feel like they didnt want her to defeat him right there so maeve can get her scene.

I’m glad this series is starting to get more and more recognition, well deserved!

How noir died but Maeve survived is beyond me. Soldier boy is a pure scumbag but kept his word in the end

“If and when there is a season 4” conformed! Nathen Mitchell might get recast as Black Noir. I mean Soldier Boy is a legacy hero in the comics played by different people. Wouldn’t be that much of a stretch if Black Noir became a legacy character played again or if Nathan becomes a new supe in whole either way I’m freaking excited!

They did both Black Noir and Soldier Boy real dirty in the finale. Soldier Boy could have been written much better though Jensen owned the character and every single frame he was in and that is saying something when he was alongside series regulars like Karl Urban and Antony Starr.

SOOO relieved that SB is alive and could appear in the upcoming season again!! What a great character, I want to see so much more of Jensen's acting 💕

I love how Erin Moriarty talks about starlight in the first person. You can really tell how much she understands and empathizes with her character!!!

Can we talk about how amazing Maeve's fight with Homelander was?! Expected her to be more this season.

Can we agree that the show needs a bit more episodes per season? Make it 13 just like breaking bad and give it enough time to move the plot forward.

Hands down funniest part of the entire show was when soldier boy and huey encountered a priest and nun. Cant wait for more next season!

The cast, crew, everyone was on fire this season. Amazing... brilliant, brilliant season. The fight scenes were tight and so well edited & directed. And ofcourse, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. I knew he was going to be amazing but he was just. PERFECT. He looked SO GOOD as SB, sounded great, worked on his cadence, Soldier Boy's look, his humour was deadpan & delivery was dry and hilarious, the way he carried himself, his action scenes were awesome. So proud of him! Thank you, Kripke!

It is truly scary how that crowd cheering at the end is so realistic to what would happen in real life if something like that were to happen. There is totally a crowd of people that would cheer for something like that.

It was a bittersweet ending 🥲gonna miss the feeling of waiting every Fridays for the episodes to drop 😭until next time, cheers to season 4

No mention of Queen Maeve??? My FAV character who made the big Hero sacrifice fully expecting to die but getting what she really wanted instead...Glad she got her happy ending, even if it cost her an eye in the process!

Season two ended with Butcher telling Ryan “don’t be a cu*t” and season three ended with Ryan starting to be one

EVERY actor on this show is perfect. There's a lot of nuance to all the characters and they all portrayed them flawlessly.

Jensen is so naturally funny, for those that watched SN know and to see that really exemplified with Soldier Boy was so awesome. He absolutely killed it and deserves to be huge

Every character is protagonist and antagonist at the same time. They have their own perspectives and motives. That's why i love 'The Boys' so much...proudly finished 3 seasons in a week 😁....

I love how Antony Starr played the scene with Black Noir... You can see that it was hurting Homelander to have to rip the guts out of one of a dude he might have actually had some respect for...🤔

The true genius of Eric Kripke is that he can say "Buster Beavers" with a straight face. 😂🤣

Also, it would have been cool for Star light to hit Soldier Boy with a solid 7secs of one continous light blast with shockwave pulses and the entire room goes black and only lit up by SL's light... Would have been a cool effect ! She's sbsorbing all the energy out of the light bulbs. right? They black out for the time she's using them. It would have looked great and people wouldn't be complaining as much as they are now about all that build up being for nothing.

Kripke pretty much confirms that Noir might be back in season 4 at 3:04!

I am actually a little disappointed that they did not push Soldier Boys Character to more extremes, I mean compare to Homelander, who we got a lot more character development. I wanted them to show the origin of Soldier Boy and the atrocities that he has committed, but they mostly just talk about it and Jensen's interaction with Karl and Jack does not reveal much. Let hope Jensen comes back for season 4 and get some more development!

Your biggest mistake was speeding through Noir's backstory, then killing him. Even if he gets replaced as it's been rumored, it won't be the same because it's not the Noir fans have grown to love.

You expect me to believe a guy who had his literal brains bashed out couldn't take a little gut punch from Homelander? Yeeeahhhh.

Butcher and Homelander both laser eyeing Soldier Boy was fantastic and showed that they're both sides of the same coin!

The fact that after everything Homelander has done, I still felt a tinge of pity when he weeps after finding out Noir knew about Soldier Boy. Makes me so appreciative of Antony Stars acting.

I feel bad for Soldier Boy. Going back to where he didn't want to be.

HL loved Noir. HL killed Noir for betraying him hiding the father he wished he had but now that HL knows how bad SB is I hope he regrets his actions

Why didn’t Butcher run Ryan out of the room & let SB go off on Homie (🤣😂)? They all had time to leave SB alone w/ Homelander while he powered up. That radiation better come back next season!

My gripes with the finale are these.. I wish noir would've got a chance to confront soldier boy. Not sure how maeve survived soldier boys blast unless she yeeted off of him last second.. sucks soldier boy got put back in that chamber. Feel like there was a lot of missed opportunity with him in this episode / this whole season. Sure they can bring him back but everything was so hyped up about him this season it just kinda seemed lack luster to me how SB got put back how he was at the start of the season

Can we please give it up to Antony Star! This man plays unhinged psychopath wonderfully while also bringing some humanity and making the audience really emphasize with him.

I love how starlight scene of her hitting solider boy barely even moved him

Episode 8 was the weakest episode so far this season. *The anticlimactic death of Noir *the team betraying Soldier Boy *the inclusion of Ryan *A-Train having nothing to do during the fight *Starlight’s goofy power up scene (felt like a straight parody) *Kimiko straight up brutally murdering security guards even though her whole arc is her trying not to be a monster *Maeve and Homelander having such such a terrible fight sequence before they dramatically have her jump off the building to save everyone (again felt corny) *Everything in the end returning to status quo This season was really good. But this finale was hella mid, they put the pieces in place, but felt rushed and wasn’t executed well. Herogasm was way better honestly.

Man…by the end of the episode, realizing it’s pretty much just Noir gone moving into s4, not gonna lie…that was pretty upsetting. No one else big went down in the finale but Noir. And I friggin loved that guy. Not hating, just kinda getting over that still lol. **sad unfair death noises**

I really hope we aint seen the last of soldier boy... he absolutely fuckin killed it! Not to take away from any of the other actors and actresses, the whole cast is spectacular! So well written and well done, always a thrill to watch! Cant wait for season 4...in 2024😭😭😭

This show has been my favourite show out on all of tv and everyone I showed this show also agrees, keep it up it’s amazing

So you have Maeve who is literally strong enough plough through an armoured bank truck and take machine gun fire and Homie who would have been able to lift up a plane if only he had a place to stand on... And the fight that you give these two sticks to one room? Come on ! Walls for these two are just interrupting paper sheets. Now Homelander might be holding back, but that doesn't mean she is.. She is going full on and the things she's punching should either rip apart or break into something two rooms away to convey an impact. That would have made the fight realistic like the rest of the series.

I’ll be honest, after the big things in episode 6/7 I felt underwhelmed by the finale when I first saw it. But I always watch reaction channels, and going through it again I’m realizing just how much did change with this finale. I’m happy with it now. It didn’t hold major revelations, but it showed a lot of character growth for multiple characters. Frenchie, Kimiko, and MM all gained confidence in themselves, Hughie finally got over his issues and literally powered up Starlight over taking the V24 himself. Meanwhile The Seven are now three, two of which seem about ready to either run from the life or lose it all to a tell all book, so really just Homelander. The people who are on his side will stay there no matter what he does, but the public also knows he’ll kill somebody in (mostly) cold blood and now he probably won’t be denying it. But it also shows how much he loves Ryan. Genuinely cares for him. Now, I have no doubts that if he had a son that was 100% supe, he’d probably care more for that kid. But all the same when Ryan hits soldier boy off him, after having his actual biological father tell him he’s a disappointment, his first action is to go tell Ryan to go back upstairs. Then once Ryan is hit and on the ground, Homelander pays no attention at all to the mounting attack behind him, even though he knows it would take his power, and puts 100% of his focus on checking to see if Ryan is okay. Finally when he could confront and likely kill Butcher, the thorn in his side, he chooses to acquiesce to Ryan wanting to leave. He’s fucked up, he’s a villain, but he does genuinely care about his son. Maeve completed her arc, going from the disillusioned hero who can’t see light in the world anymore, who will compromise everything of her value to survive, to putting everything into fighting Homelander and then giving up her power and making the sacrifice play. Even if she did survive, she jumped out that window knowing full well it may kill her. Sure, nobody was in the building at the time, but she saved probably everybody in that fight, putting her own personal vendetta aside, in an inverse of how she let everybody on the plane die so Homelander would save her.

The Boys offers a very complex perspective on superheroes. While the comic books portrayed them as mostly horrible monsters who use the world and other people as their own playthings, the show gives a background to how someone becomes that monster and why they are as such. Homelander is one of the best villains in TV history because his past makes him a malignant narcissist, someone who desperately wants to belong in a world which he can easily destroy. He's insecure and weak, but beholden with great power. Him killing the liberal protester to the cheers of his followers takes off his mask and season 4 will reveal Homelander without his facades. No more hiding behind a smile and a "No, YOU'RE the real heroes!" quips. He's now unhinged and uncensored. Season 4 will definitely end with him killing Victoria Neuman at the White House, similar to the comic books.

I got literally triggered by Homelander's plot armor this episode. Its like her stopped being the antagonist and became the protagonist. 1st saved by Ryan, 2nd time by Butcher, and 3rd time Maeve, rather than kill him, saves the Boys because at just the wrong moment they are in trouble... god dammit man. I wish Butcher would have just grabbed Ryan and took him to another room and left Homelander with Maeve and SB... they would have killed him. Fucking plot armor god dammit.

You can tell Erin Moriarty is one of those actors/actresses who directors can just unscrew the top of their head and pour a character into. It comes out a little in her performance…. But it shows so much in these interviews 😂😂😂

I interpreted Black Noir seeing the cartoons as something that only happened after his brain got smashed out of his head when capturing Soldier Boy

I don't know what happens in S4, but all I want is one scene with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) calling Robert Singer (Jim Beaver) "Bobby" and Bob calling him back "idjit".

I've never realized that The Deep is metaphorically and literally out of his element all the time. Like maybe thats why he sucks so much.
