The MCU has us chasing a Captain America we need, but this is the Captain America we deserve.

What I like about this is that his antics, while rude and abusive, aren’t that far off from some of the high-maintenance celebrities and bigwigs in real life. I’ve interacted with a few rich and famous figures for big events and Soldier Boy wouldn’t even rank top 3 of the rudest people I’ve had to put up with.

This is propaganda. The Soldier Boy I knew is an American hero that would never act like this. R.I.P Soldier Boy

I hope Soldier Boy is in a few seasons and not killed off, He seems like a fun character to have on to balance out the fixation on Homelander.

He's actually more personable than Homelander. Seriously. Imagine Homelander doing this, he wouldn't even tolerate it and would've lasered someone. Soldier Boy actually has a sense of self-depreciating humor. Edit: Some people are misinterpreting "doing this" as in doing the promo ad. That's not what I meant. Homelander would do those just fine because he's a Company Man. What I mean is talking with the crew. Even if Soldier Boy is gruff and rough around the edges, Homelander is a nearly soulless psychopath that kills people just for pissing him off or for his own amusement.

Man, I love Jensen as Soldier Boy, but at the same time after 15 seasons of Supernatural it is really hard to not just see Dean Winchester having a bad day in a superhero suit.

Good job smh, we all know what kind of hero Soldier Boy was, and what he stood for you're just sad you're in no way capable to stand for even a tenth of what he did RIP Soldier Boy

What I like about this Soldier Boy is he's pompous, he's an asshole, but both he and Butcher have made it clear he never killed civilians (in his right mind). He wouldn't normally lash out, and leave uncontrolled devastation in his wake. I hope he sticks around. He's a fun foil Homelander, and is even arguably more controlled than Butcher, even if he has mostly the same moral compass as him.

I find it interesting how Soldier boy isn’t afraid of Stan like Homelander in that he isn’t afraid to complain about the script unlike Homelander who is terrified by the thought of going against what Stan wants him to do (in the first 2 seasons)

God, I love how the Boys takes things and tropes other superhero movies/shows have done and made them so much funnier, adult, and honestly more realistic. Like when the Termite was trying to pull the move on Frenchie we all wanted Antman to do to Thanos. 😂

AND HERE COMES BUTCHER WITH THE CHAIR!!
