The Boys Season 2 finale was packed with shocking reveals, surprising deaths, a lot of Fresca references, and more head-popping action! And we wouldn’t expect anything less from this show! But now that season 2 is officially over, it means we have to start our long wait for season 3 in order to give us answers to some of our biggest questions.
Be warned, from here on out, there will be spoilers for The Boys season 2 finale!
After a season of thinking she was on The Boys’ side, it was revealed that Congresswoman Neuman was the mysterious Head-Popper and that creates a fascinating set-up for season 3. She’s taking control of a Superhero Regulation task force, but is she actually in Vought’s pocket? Does she work directly for Stan Edgar? What is her ultimate goal and will it lead her to the White House? Those are the big questions we need answered for the now villainous congresswoman!
And putting politics aside, what’s going to happen to The Seven? The team is seriously fractured. Queen Maeve and Starlight put themselves in danger by openly defying and blackmailing Homelander and chances are, that won’t go well for anyone. And now that Stormfront looks like a piece of chicken that was left in the deep fryer for too long, it creates an opening on the team. Will Jenson Ackles’ Soldier Boy take her place? And most importantly, will Black Noir be okay??

Both Homelander and Billy are opposite sides of the same coin. It’s fascinating that in this episode we see the most humanity coming from both characters and in the same episode we see both loose what they love most and how they react to it. We see them at their best and worst! Can’t wait to see what Eric Kipke has in store for these two!

I believe this, too. In episode 1, he merely melts the bank robbers gun over a duration of time rather than slicing straight through it and the airplane cockpit scene didn’t penetrate the entire hull of the aircraft (I don’t think, anyway). Regardless, we definitely see different levels of “I’ll laser every f#%*cking one of you!”

Homelander lasered Stormfront to the center of Bodymass, and held back. She had to goad him into doing it harder. Ryan basically lasered her all over, full blast, fueled by Rage. Hacking her off at the knees, and elbows. (She also lost an eye to a paring knife) So, it's possible that she's more vulnerable in spots, than she is to the head, and torso, which survived. Also, she can heal, but we can't know whether or not she can re-grow limbs, and it's far from instant resurrection, like The Female of the Species (Kimiko.)

To be honest I never really thought about Ryan being stronger than homelander but that’s a really good point, I do not think homelander would just be slicing people apart if he was able to use that kind of heat vision, just think about the imaginary scene where he massacred the protesters, it was just his usual slicing beam

"He would be a better father than Homelander, right"? Uhm, no? He wanted to beat the boy to death. Butcher had shown that he can be rather cruel. He gave him to the CIA so he can have a foster family. I also would be very sad if Ryan has to kill his dad. Killing his own father, no matter who he is, would mentally harm any child. The answer I want: What is Vought endgame? They kept Ryan hidden from Homelander for a reason. They were afraid that he would become like his father or form a bond with him. But they definetly want to use the boy. Vogelbaum said that no matter how good the DNA is, if the dog is not raised with its mother, it becomes hateful. So Homelander was choosen by Vought for a reason. DNA. But he is a failure because he is mentally unstable. Ryan is a born supe. Unlike any other. That propably makes him more powerful. Think about it: Vogelbaum said he kept Ryan and Becca hidden because it would have been a scandal if she told everyone about it. But Vought just could have killed her an nobody would know. They wanted to let her raise Ryan. Now Ryan is the well breed dog they wanted. That would also explain why Homelander spoke about being sterile. How/why did he even knew that? The sentence seems to be so unimportant first but if they already tried to force him to have children or used his sperm for experiments, it would make sense that he knew.

Honestly I have a idea for the boys season 3 so stormfront is imprisoned and she has a son but the son is a second generation like ryan but he also has some damage done to him because of her injuries due to ryan so his face is disfigured and the son develops all of homelander and stormfronts powers homelander finds out about him having a son and kills everyone in the facility except stormfront and his new son and he bascally takes them to a secret hideaway and turns the son into a ruthless killing machine to use on the boys

QUESTION ❓ In season 1, when Butcher was in Stillwell's house with Homelander, he had a bomb wrapped around her. Now even though Homelander kills Stillwell Butcher still blew the bomb. I hear Soldier Boy a bit like Homelander in arrogance and ego. But, may be more secure and sure of himself, clever and dangerous sort of like the most dangerous of Homelandler's and Stormfront's traits and abilities. He's not going to be as easily duped or manipulated as Homelander. Homelandler will resent Soldier's new dominance of the 7. Like a usurped despot placeholder. Stormfront may not appear much but just in glimpses of convalescent captivity. Maybe getting fitted with bionic legs and arm. Her face disfigured. Vengeful like a Phantom of the Opera. I don't think she'll be a zombie. That's just not interesting enough for the audience. She's to good, or should I say, ungood a character to waste like that. She might actually fully come back in the 4th season if there is one, or second half of the third.
