Im pretty sure that his time in the hospital will be the last moment he will be able to fully open his heart to Ryan and really have a last joyful moment with his "son" before Kessler take over to finish what he started with Homelander, but we will see that in S5.
My theory about these three scenes Homelander discovers that Ryan visited William in the hospital. This was the last straw with his son, and he gets very irritated upon finding out. Then, he shoots a laser beam at the wall because he is very angry with his son. #TheBoys

My theory with the scene with homelander's apartment in ruins is after butcher telling Ryan what truly happened between homelander and becca and how homelander raped her and he was born so when ryan goes to the apartment to confront his homelander about it he just snaps and destroys the apartment before running away or flying off and homelander is left completely alone now with no one that loves him

kinda, he decides to kill neuman on his own and kessler decides to let him control the tentacles. neumans death is very gory and tragic as it's in front of zoe and hughie. "You're all f*cking welcome" from the trailer is in the end of this scene.
Too many shows now suggest a happy or less than happy ending..why not just let homelander win it all..he either destroys earth or simply conquers it…better homelander win but he sorta looses it all..kills ryan..etc..just go full dark future…and then maybe at the very end…we see homelander in white costume..fade to black..idk

Frankly this season has been mid. Barely any action at all and the story has barely moved forward. This finale NEEDS to be explosive or Season 4 is going to be regarded as crap for the rest of time.
I feel like this whole season has been a bridge between season 3 and 5. Season 4 impacts the characters more than development of story. Imo season 5 will be a much better season due to the story and character progression in season 4
oh, this episode is FUCKING DIABOLICAL!!! cindy & vought security vs hughie and starlight, sam and cate vs kimiko and frenchie, starlight vs shapeshifter starlight, butcher ruthlessly killing neuman, ryan killing grace and a nurse, butcher and joe kessler vs supes, mm being dick slapped by love sausage in a bathroom. You wont be dissapointed!
Theory: Homelander is going to release all the trapped supes from the CIA because they are going to attack white house , and he will see Soldier boy there while saving all supes because we saw soldier boy anesthetized in season 3 . And homelander is going to kill Soldier Boy while he is sleeping after all the things he said to homelander .(another reason homelander to kill Soldier boy = He is a huge threat for all the supes ,Soldier boy can took thousands of supes's superpower and can kill them all with just 1 explosion
What will happen in episode 8 1. Hughie will propose to shapeshifter 2. Neuman will be killed by butchers powers (terrible cgi) 3. Malory dies killed by ryan after they capture him 4. Homelander tells the seven to kill EVERY human in the tower, they lock all the doors and bloodbath begins 5. Ashley tries to save herself and takes the v that she stole from homelander, the noir comes to her room to kill her but compound v has bad effect on her, her skin falls apart and this is the most gory scene in the series, 6. Homelander Releases all the locked up supes from cia facility 7.ryan kills nurse in the vought tower and is happy about it wants to kill and homelander is terrified 8. We see soldier boy being "killed" by homelander, he gets his life supplies turned off by him 9. We see fights as, kimiko vs sam, Frenchie vs cate, starlight and hughie vs cindy and butcher vs neuman, 10. Assasination on singer wont work because when hughie and shapeshifter sit in the bunker, hughie notices that statlight is not "real" 11. Assasination may not be happening but still supes ABSOLUTELY take after the whole city if not country and they are telling people to kill all the starlighters 12. All of the boys have to leave the country 13. Butcher is terrified of his powers and drives away because he killed neuman infront of hughie and her daughter and zoe reminds him of ryan killing his own mother Thats pretty much it you can ask me for something
