Greetings. As you know, I am Jack, and I wanted to record my time at American Legion Boys State for me and you. Although I will always have these memories, I decided to upload my experience because I had seen no RU-vid videos to date from the participants of Boys State themselves, just official footage from the American Legion Social Media platforms, or boys talking about it afterwards. Although there were ups and downs, overall I had a great time.
Most videos discussing Boys State I have seen were overwhelmingly positive and meant to be educational. My goal in this video is to portray American Legion Boys State more accurately from an inside perspective, while at the same time making it entertaining to watch. Enjoy!

i got an interview to boys state. i’m just wondering what could i do to get in? do you remember any interview questions? tips and tricks?

(If it was Texas boys state) They just asked me what I was interested as far as careers/colleges. Then they asked if I would be willing to say the pledge of allegiance or share a room with a minority / person of color (I said I would gladly do both) . If anything, don't try to impress them, just be yourself and don't be insane, they want well rounded individuals to represent whatever school/institution is sending you.

I don't know if you'll see this: but how easy is it to skip the stuff at boys state? Like if I have absolutely no interest in it, could I just enjoy my time at the college? I am stuck going
