Because one year ago today, I wish I could have found a video of a young woman with brain mets who underwent whole brain radiation and stereotactic radio-surgery and is still alive and thriving a year later.
Today, I decided to be that person.
As hard as this was to share, I know it is needed.
Here is a full brain update since the brain journey began on May 20, 2020, the treatments I underwent, the 4 scan results I received and how I am doing today. SPOILER ALERT: Really good! Xo

Thank you for posting this! My mom was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer with lung, bone, and brain Mets (one the size of a kiwi) the day after Christmas 2019. She’s had chemo and radiation (including gammaknife) and she’s had good imaging also. She’s been off chemo for six months and just had clear scans. And she’s 63!!! Thank you for your vulnerability and positive outlook. I will be praying for you! ♥️

@@wwilliams3278 No cancer can't be beat(not today atleast)..but you can live with it symptom free. Olivia Newton John spent 25 years in remission symptom free, that's what we'd all want.

I really needed this. Not for brain mets but for MS and I am in a very dark hole. I can’t get out. Thank you for all you do. People say 2020 was so bad but they have no idea how bad it really was for some of us :/

Hello my hero. I am now in the process of considering of getting whole brain radiation. I currently have 20 very small lesions (no side effects) in my brain due to lung cancer. My doctors are considering whole brain radiation so I am doing research and came across your video. I'm 49, and actually healthy and my doc thinks that I will push through this. I've already had 2 gamma knifes done already but gamma won't fix what I have now. Best of luck to you in your journey

Even after ypur passing you are still helping coma I was recently diagnosed with brain metastasis. Hi had brain surgery to remove two tumors. I still have four left and I will receive whole brain radiation. Your journey gives me hope.

Nalie, I’m so glad that you are still going and keeping as well as you can. I also have stage 4 breast cancer, in my lung and bones. I’ve been having weekly paclitaxel. My cancer has been back 4 times. It’s a hard battle to win. I’ve been following you on RU-vid. Thank you so much for doing your updates. You are an amazing soul. I’m still praying for you.

I have watched your Chanel for years since I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. You inspired me so much. I have gone 6 years clear but had to have ct scan today as I have an enlarged lymph node in my mesentric layer. Nalie, thank you so much for sharing your journey! Yesterday May20, 2021 I had surgery to remove a metastasis of my abdominal wall of uterine serous carcinoma. I was originally diagnosed in June of 2019. Your videos have helped me so much. Keep fighting and I wish you the best.

Hi Karen, I hope you’re doing well. I had my first clear scan in February however my May 4 scan shows growth in my abdomen also two lymph nodes, para aortic and 1 other also 2 new lesions. I have HIPEC surgery scheduled for June 10. How did your surgery go and did it remove everything? There are 4 clinical trials going on for our type of cancer. I’m probably going to do chemo ( the red devil) until the trial starts that my doctor wants me to do.

@@accordingtojoyce6651 for this second recurrence to a groin lymph node I had surgery they took the tumor out along with one by more lymph node. Serous was only found in the one lymph node. So far I am recovering well from my surgery. Since I had just finished 6 months of chemo my oncologist and I decided to wait a few months for a PET scan and save any additional treatments for on down the line. Wishing you the best.

Me too!! I had my first 6hr round of chemotherapy yesterday. I don't feel any different or discomfort right now. Just still taking it easy! Praying for all of us dealing with this ugly disease ❤🙏🏽

Hi! I’m from Philippines, got diagnosed of breast CA in 2016 at the age of 25. Then, lung mets in 2019. And now, checking up on suspicious mets on my brain. Your video has helped me deal with anxiety of the uncertainties. We are so alike! Thank you so much! Btw, have you also been diagnosed with Li Fraumeni Syndrome? Do you currently follow any diet?
