No matter where we stay we always hate leaving, the next trip is already being planned before we even make it home from that trip No place like the Great Smoky Mountains, it’s home away from home, been going since I was either 3 or 4 years old, a lil over 40 years now We use to go in a group of about 30, now it’s just me, hubby and our daughter, I miss my big family, most of them have gone on to Heaven, I look forward to seeing them again some sweet day. I cherish all of my memories of them, I never thought I would miss my aunt and uncles argueing but I do lol It’s the lil small things that really mean so much Sorry, didn’t mean to write a book lol
@Tena Ratliff that is so funny because that sounds exactly like me! I'm a little over 40 years old and have been coming since I was 3 or 4... Even back before Dollywood was Dollywood. 🤣 We used to come with multiple families also but now it's just us and the kids or we bring my parents along. We adore the Smokies and come as often as we can. Usually 3 or 4 times a year. There's just something about it that makes it feel like home. ❤️
That is pretty cool that they have the drinks and snacks there so you don't have to leave the hotel. They have some nice hours for the restaurant. Very nice review of the hotel..
Looks like they had a special running while y'all were there: spend two nights, and get a free pallet at the front entrance. That fireplace is awesome!
@@theharvey5 Okay thanks. Looks like it's fairly close to the conference center, but I can't tell on google maps if there's a way to cross the river to walk back to the conference center or not. I'll try calling them. Thanks.
I believe it's comparable to every other hotel in those aspects. We stayed at Margaritaville Inn and the snacks were much more expensive. Maybe a good idea to stock up at the grocery before coming back to the hotel. That's sometimes what we choose to do. Thanks for the comment.
