Mvp baseball 2005. You get home from school, throw your backpack on the couch. Turn on that big ol body TV, turn on the GameCube. Lil GC chime. EA SPORTS, IT'S IN THE GAME. bliss
@@dannygreen592 I think the definition of good music applies to when you were growing up and developing as a person. You were learning more about the world as a kid so the music at that moment in time effected your emotions more. Therefore, the music speaks to you more and sounds better.
No way dude!!! No way in h3ll! This is also the songs that I used to heard it from the local MV channel in my country everytime I waited for a school bus in the morning
This was the first song I ever downloaded off Limewire in the mid-2000's. We had dial up and this literally took a whole entire fkn day. Shit still slaps 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Loving the number of people that ARE still listening to this. My hats off to a better time in the world of music. Music we can actually go back to almost 20 years after the fact and jam to.
This was my brothers favorite song. He was 35 when he passed on June 8th, 2023, at 8:45 PM. I’ll always love and miss you big brother. Thank you for taking care of me and loving me, and helping me become the man I am today. I miss you dearly. It hurts. It’ll always hurt. It’s not my first lost but definitely one of the more potent ones. I swear I never meant for this, I never meant. Don’t look at me that way, It was an honest mistake. Don’t look at me that way. It was an honest mistake, An honest mistake. I’ll never forgive myself for not quelling our squabbles, before you died. You kept asking to spend more time together because you thought you were sick. I kept denying it and pushing it off, and now it’s too late. I love you and I’m so sorry for basically abandoning you in your last weeks. I’m sorry.
My condolences...I love my brothers so much.... I'm the oldest and my best memories are when I protected my brothers and my worst are when I failed to do so.... but they Still love me...😊
I remember when this band released this song there was an explosion of retro bands. The Vines, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, The Darkness, The Strokes, etc. What a time to be alive.
@@frightbat208 I guess no one would be jealous of someone who lived through the music of the '60s, '70s and '80s like i did because that person would appear ancient to them - Pros and Cons....
Drums are what elevates this song from 1984 pop to modern rock jam. Try playing along... also drums on Something to Believe. Absolutely denting that high hat and crushing that snare...
People, they don't mean a thing to you They move right through you, just like your breath But sometimes I still think of you And I just wanted you to know My old friends I swear I never meant for this I never meant Don't look at me that way It was an honest mistake Don't look at me that way It was an honest mistake An honest mistake Sometimes I forget I'm still awake I fuck up and say these things out loud My old friends I swear I never meant for this I never meant Don't look at me…
My best friend Jonathan from high school introduced me to this band in the mixed CDs he made for me. Fast forwards 11 years, I'm happily married to him and I can't wait to play this song for him when he gets back from work! This song brings beautiful memories from 2010 and 2011.
I feel like no one is talking about how great the music video is. The song is fantastic of course, but can we appreciate how much time and effort went into making this incredible video? One of my all-time favs
I like how a long domino pattern smashes the whole property in the room. This is one of the best and most creative music videos about destruction instead of most music videos that are trying to be an action movies wannabe or "AhAhAhaH hArDeR rOck/BeAT = dEsTruCtIon iNtEnsiFiEs"

Met them in concert. Tapped all there shoulders and said thank you for a great experience. The last member of the band turned around and said thanks for coming to our show. Alot of shit went down that night with my ex, but they brought it back around and made it awesome. Thank you to the bravery.
I just discovered this song the other day and can't stop listening to it! I'm 60 and can't believe I missed out on this gem all these years! It makes me feel alive and has all the sounds I crave in music!
@@harveyplantharvester1502 bruv I'm more into Hip Hop Afrobeats Reggie R&B & Electronic It ain't crap at all & Also this song is a classic all thanks to the best EA Racing games of all times Burnout Revenge on Xbox Plus The Superdiscount Remix is alot better than the Original version All thanks to Burnout Revenge Because if I haven't heard this song I'm Burnout Revenge on Xbox Than I would have heard the Original version on the radio or at a party
When I was just a young kid, I used to play this song on Guitar Hero purposely on the hardest difficulty so I could feel like I was an actual member of the group. Oh man, the memories!
This was an interesting time in music, indie was still popular from the early 2000s but dance music was clearly taking over, bands like the Bravery, the Killers, the Klaxons, the Sounds, Soulwax etc. were somewhere in the middle.
I remember seeing tgese guys open for ash around 20 years ago at the TLA. Dude out front was hyping up yhe bravery, said theyd change my life. They did not, but they were damn good and i bought their album
Feels like the 2000s post-punk/nu wave era was far too short-lived. Saw these guys 4 times in concert. Think this was the last time I crushed hard on a lead singer. Sam Endicott was SEX. Great music, underrated band.
I COMPLETELY forgot about this song until I heard it on LWC this morning! As soon as I heard crowders version the real words started coming to my head and I had to come listen to the original. I forgot how bizarre the music video was
this is still one of the most well filmed and beautifully calculated music videos I've seen, realizing they just literally did the ultimate chain reaction just to shoot an arrow that misses, fuckin amazing lol
I saw this band with my late partner - When they opened for Depeche Mode in 2005 @AAC.. They've since stopped making music since April 2014, but haven't officially broken up yet. I also saw them perform at House of Blues Dallas in Oct. 2009, and this has always been my fav song of theirs.
+Micah Buzan No joke, bro. Been listening to this song since like... Freshman year and when it comes on, even today the speakers are WAYYYYY up and i'm dancing behind the wheel or at my desk. This is legit one of those songs that just doesn't get old.
Haha, MY first contact with this song was through mobile version of Guitar Hero, like, for the phones with buttons, I was blown away when I heard it for the first time... not in MIDI sound :D
I'm in my 50s and heard this song for the 1st time about 6 months ago. I was hooked when I heard it on Sirus radio. Very good sound. I like some of their other stuff too.
