You are right about that, but don't forget that the braves have their team locked up for the next 10 years so they have time to rebuild their minor league system. They must think they are okay if they just let dansby Swanson walk, and Freddie Freeman the year before. The braves have proven you don't need megastars to win the world series . Look at the dodgers in the Mets. The braves will be just fine

@@SmartrBaseball No, Atlanta farm is really bad now. Theyre in the bottom 5 of the league. The main guy to watch is Shewmake at SS. He could take that position and then Grissom could play LF.

@@calebsalyers4246 Atlanta's farm has been great over the last few years, it's only "bad" now because all of their top guys got to the majors so quickly or were traded. Langeliers/Pache were dealt in the Olson trade, Contreras rose up through the minors, shined last year and was traded, Harris and Strider made insane jumps to the majors, Grissom is now gonna be an every day starter. It isn't necessarily uncommon for teams with a lot of young guys fresh to the majors to have a bad farm for a couple of years, just a testament to Atlanta's development.

If you actually took the time to also research, you would know we acquired some helpful players during that off-season and also used the time to PROPERLY train them, unlike the rest of the league who use their money roll as an excuse to but STAR players, not ROOKIE players. The Astros also handily used their farms unlike others to groom the talent, picking the diamonds in the rough and transforming them into the stars such as Peña or the upcoming Gilbert. But you're a BRAVES fan, so you wouldn't understand that mentality, you only understand how to live in the past! This can be supported based upon your egregious comment asking rhetorical questions which already have an obvious answer. To further that, you could argue the Astros did better than expected to because we were limited on our pitching, for example the LMJ injury in the ALDS. I know this for a fact because I lived that experience watching my team miraculously make it the WS. We really were lucky to make it because we had poor pitching. I understand hating the Braves but the only reason you hate the south is because you have never spent significant time there, I was born and raised in New Jersey but have lived in the south the last 15 years and I wouldn't move anywhere else. People are just nicer down here, the cost of living is significantly cheaper and I get to keep far more of my paycheck than in New Jersey plus winter is easy down here.
