Phly, your wrong. When the IS-3 was added, the game still used LOS penetration which meant the long 8.8cm could pen it with both regular ammo and APCR. It was also initially at BR 7.7. It relied more on RNG bounce chance and overall sucked. It's BR kept getting lowered because of this till it went to BR 7. That's when they introduced slope mechanics and now the IS-3 was immune to most guns from the front and stayed at BR 7 for like 3 months. Only way to kill one from the front in most cases was to shot trap it. Then it got moved to BR 7.3, they updated the model and made it easier to kill from the front (turret ring is more pronounced) and with Britian and Japan having APDS and HEAT-FS, it's become a rather average heavy now.

Hey Phly! Dont think you know that, so Im just gonna point it out! Heavy Tanks cost 450 Spawnpoints when youre on the same BR as the tank is! For example that would be 450 Spawn Points with the IS 3 when the highest BR in the match is 7.3; 390 Spawn Points in a 7.7 Match; about 350 when youre in a 8.0 match and 300 spawn points when you get fully uptiered ( 1 BR higher than your own)

When ordering trackbolts for the Tiger tank someone made a mistake and 3 months later instead of trackbolts some P47D arrived in germany! They weren't used much because they came without a manual, but in the last weeks the german pilots reported that they face to many enemy planes to handle alone. The goverment decided that you should help them out with a fresh P47D. Challange: get out in an arcade match with the german P47 and clear the sky! get at least 11 Kills.

I don't get how more people don't know, you can tell your br by the SP cost. For heavys 340 is an upteir, 390 is its own teir and 450 is a down tier. Simple as that.

the IS-3 as the Tiger2H WERE a menace but as of today, the IS-3 is the worst 7.3 there's. Ok, so what do we have? Cons: - long reload - bad movement with low acceleration and slow turns. - when penetrated killed instantly - slow turret traverse speed - bad gun depression NOW - big weakspot in the front gun manlet (just under the gun.) get's 1 shotted there. pros: - front armor impenetrable. WAS, not anymore. - can reverse fast - good gun An IS-6 has better protection and has to be pinpointed to get penetrated, the Jagdtiger with 7.3 is multiple times better. I even prefer the fast T-44-100 7.0 instead of the mediocre IS-3. IS-3 the only Russian tank that sucks.

I have a great Idea. why not implement the "Ace" award for RB and sim ? 5 kills in 1 vehicle in combined RB = 3000 x rank of the vehicle SL and 1000 x rank of the vehicle RP 5 kills in 1 vehicle in combined sim = 5000 x rank of the vehicle SL and 1500 x rank of the vehicle RP 5 kills in 1 vehicle in air RB = 10k x rank SL and 3000 x rank RP 5 kills in 1 vehicle in air sim ? 15000 x rank SL and 5000 x rank RP note: death resets the counter obviously no matter if you respawn in the same vehicle or not. note: no idea if the numbers for tanks is too high, but for air RB and sim this sounds fair. it's quite hard to get 5 kills in a single game.
